The manager did not honor a displayed price=
On 12/20/2025, at about 0930 am, I went into the Burger King/Shell, Houston, TX, 77075, off Beltway 8 and 35. I went in to order the Breakfast Burrito Jr Combo, as it was displayed on the screen above the cash register, for 5.69.
When the server rang up my order, it listed it as 6.09, not 5.69; a 40 cent difference. I asked why the price was different, and the server checked the display. The server was concerned and went and got the manager. The manager told me that their menu was wrong.
I said that she should fix it, and walked out.
Why did the manager not honor the displayed price? The manager did not even offer to change the order price and honor the displayed price.
I tried to complain to Burger King corporate, but they will not take a complaint without a receipt.
Am I getting something wrong here, or should they honor a displayed price?

I have been here a few times without complaints. Yes. It could use a remodel and made brighter. However. I come for the food and it is usually ready in a few minutes and the staff most friendly.

This was my first time ever visiting this location it's only because it's right off the beltway and it was quick for us to grab something to eat however they got the order wrong and they were rude. I wasn't happy but I did not go back and complain because again we needed something right quick and we were on the road.
Service was horrible The lady at the window did not listen to anything that was requested. The food was cold. And initially they tried giving us only three onion rings until we called them out on it. The worst part about it is I think management was standing right there I will never ever visit this location again. I suggest everyone boycott and not waste your money even $1
