I would go here back in the 90's twice a week until I became a vegetarian and didn't go for 20 yrs. 2023, I started eating meat again and tried all of the fast food burgers. Whataburger STILL was the best out of the major chains. I just happened to go to visit a family member and passed BURGER PARK and I stopped because I had forgotten about it. I pulled up and NOTHING had changed over 20 yrs. NO UPGRADES AT ALL. I got out and ordered and returned to the car and OMG, this is STILL the best burger/fries and slush IN TOWN. I do not like thick meat nor do I like smash burger meat. This was seasoned, crispy edges, bun crispy edges etc. The fries are still the best to me. Not shoestring or fat fries but crunchy with semi soft center annnnnd that slush is STILL the bomb. I live on the other side of town but when I want a HOOD BURGER, I will drive over to MLK Blvd. The fish sandwich is the bomb also. I got a triple meat for the first time and the combo was only $12.50. Highly recommend.
