S/o to this location for coming thru in the clutch. I had placed an order online to pick up at the depriest location (my go-to). When I arrived the location was unusually closed...middle of day on a Saturday. Probably an unexpected happening. So I drove to Atascocita & took the risk to see if they had enough meat to cover my order esp since my card was already charged. They looked at my online receipt & took care of the order for me! Just in time for my party. So grateful for them!

The two girls that worked today 11/22 have the worse attitude and very unapologetic for their mistake they made. A good corner part of the bake potato broke apart as the girl prepared it and she continue to prepare as normal . When she proceeded to give it to me I question her on it and she had the worse attitude including the girl that always have some type of bandanna on her head and her response was with an attitude instead of asking me as the customer on what was going on and being apologetic. Myself and including another customer that ordered more food had to go to customer service to request refunds for the poor service received

I ordered a slice beef sandwich and the beef was not done. It was too thick and tough. The fatty part was not done. I was very disappointed. Triple J's Barbecue is the best. You try to support the black restaurants but some of them have bad food. I was at the location off of the belt way and west lake Houston in humble. Do nOT buy their food its horribly.

I was lucky enough to make my way through this historic spot. I immediately knew it was going to be good. I could not have imagined how good... If you have never been, try it! I may not be a "foodie" or a chef, but I know food. This place is 100% legit! Go get some...
The ribs are so delicious! Great customer service too.

I’ll let you all be the judge. I went in and ordered a three meat plate. They said they had sold out because it was after lunch and close to closing time but the fact that they didn’t have any containers and just power meat or just one little to go container and wrapped in the foil was kind of why I gave them a low rating. The food is phenomenal. I love the barbecue, but the presentation of my to go plate really disappointed me. I also asked for onions and pickles and was given a little self-serve cup to go for three meat plate. I thought that was kind of funny also. But I love the food.

This Burns Bistro opened over 3 years ago on July 3, 2021 (if I remember correctly) as a pilot project. It is located inside the Marketplace Kroger in Summerwood. And has been a hit since day one. Usually, customers call in their order for pickup and carryout. You also have the option of walking in and placing an order, eat inside in the designated air conditioned deli dining area or outside on the covered patio area with outdoor fans. If you want catering (which they do), it is my understanding that you call the original Burns to make arrangements.
Today I tried the Regular Link Sandwich with a small side of macaroni & cheese. I like the fact that they serve pickles, onions, and their own Burns BBQ sauce on the side. The sauce is really awesome! (And can be purchased in the deli.) Makes the whole meal. And they carry their own signature drinks in a cold case display. They do load up the meat on their sandwiches. As for the macaroni & cheese; a little over the top with the pepper today, at least for me, but still good.
Oh, they are closed Monday and Tuesday.
Parking: Burns parking is the same as for Kroger. Depending on day and time, parking close to their entrance readily available.
Wheelchair accessibility: For wheelchair accessibility you have to use the Kroger main entrance and hook a right towards the deli area. The wheelchair parking is also located at the main entrance to Kroger. For wheelchairs the side entrance is not advisable.

This is a kitchen in Kroger...not a restaurant! Poor online presence... I first thought it was a scholarship scam. Online menu not readily available.
The BEST BBQ and service out there! Just great people!
Ok at this point I’m going to have to go to the original Burns. Yesterday I ordered through DD. 3 meat baked potato. The rib was so tuff, it was like playing tug of war with the bone to get meat off . The potato was under cooked. The portion size was excellent . I would be able to eat off it for at least 3, maybe 4 days. I said I can. Not speaking for anyone else. The homemade sausage was really good. It’s just the ribs & undercooked potatoes was an issue for me. I’m going to try the Main location. Because what I got yesterday, I know that’s not up to Burn’s standards.

Food is great. They need their own restaurant in Summerwood so you don't have to sit in Kroger or take the food home.
Better than Papas-b-b-q, that's for

The customer service here was horrible. They messed up my order and blamed me for their mistake. Ordered a bake potato with meat and the other items on the side with a single order of mac and cheese. Got home, no meat, no mac and cheese. It’s my bad for not checking, but still the order was incomplete. So rather than trying to make it right, the gentleman constantly said “you should’ve checked it”. Well you should’ve gotten it right in the first place. Horrible experience. I will never use this place again.

Food is great service not so much. I ask the Oder lady what she recommended and she pointed to the bored and was like there is the menu. Was very impatient when I ordered and looked irritated. Try to order on the app 18 minutes before they closed it said they were sold out went up to the store store they was already closed at 6:46.
I just bought loose cut brisket dinners at about 630pm. I got home and the brisket was PINK AND BLOODY!!! I ate at the original Burns BBQ when Mr.Burns was living and I was excited to see it come the Krogers in my area. Unfortunately, I will not patronize this location EVER AGAIN AND THE YOUNG GIRLS WHO SERVED AND SOLD THIS FOOD TO ME SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF EMBARRASSING The BURNS name with the potential food poisoning that I received. I trashed it because they closed at 7pm and wouldn't have made it in time to return it!!! Needless to say Very disappointed!!???
