Cafe Caspian is easily one of the best Persian restaurants in Houston! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is packed with authentic flavor and cooked to perfection. The kabob koobideh was tender and juicy, the ghormeh sabzi was rich and aromatic, and the tahdig (crispy rice) was golden perfection.
What really makes Cafe Caspian special is Max, the owner. He treats every guest like family and clearly takes pride in sharing Persian culture and hospitality. You can feel the warmth and care from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave.

I always make a stop at Caspian whenever I’m in Houston. The shirin polo is my favorite—sweet, full of flavor, and perfectly textured. I always order the doogh too; it’s rich, refreshing, and the perfect match for the meal. The desserts never miss either—especially the Persian ice cream and baklava cake. Caspian is a one of kind restaurant experience. I have been there many times and it has consistently been exceptional and delicious food as well as their wait staff who are warm and attentive. I have not seen their atmosphere and interior Decore anywhere else and a must see and experience. I highly recommend their variety fresh and tasty dishes which goes very nicely with their wines. I always take my out of the city friends and family to Cafe Caspian for a relaxed lunch or dinner. I hope they keep it up as it is. HM

Cafe Caspian had a special night for their regular customers and once again we were blown away by the delicious dishes, the camaraderie and the impact of a gentle, sweet family gathering. It was topped off with a “grandma birthday” and delicious treats from a bakery that will open soon nearby . Thanks to Annette & John for their love of Persian food and their constant friendship with Massoud and Zach. We are grateful to have been welcomed to the fold.

Caspian’s food is authentic and delicious. I’ve had most of the menu items over the years but my favourites are always their Koobideh and the Tahchin. That fresh tanoor bread is fantastic.
