We had breakfast at around 9am, service was fantastic, it wasn’t busy for the space they have but I’d say the 2 servers had 3-4 tables each. We ate the buffet, a great selection of great tasting food for a decent price, plus you must remember this is a hotel, so expectations should be focused on quantity more than quality, but this place had both, and juice comes with the breakfast, plus the scenery with the water is calming and nice seeing as we are in Houston. We will definitely return! Great food, good value, great service, great atmosphere!

Great breakfast, lovely experience! Omelette made to order, bagels and lox, oatmeal, fresh fruit, courteous wait staff, etc!
S28 plus tax for one adult if you don't have a room. I'll be back!

The servers are probably the one of the nicest ones I’ve ever met. I loved the glass elevator best.Overall everything here was amazing and I will definitely come here again!

The food and service are both very nice. And I don’t need to mention how beautiful the ambience is with the koi fish swimming next to you.
We went for lunch and ordered pizza and salmon. Both very flavorful. Mohamed was very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the restaurant.

Excellent Ribeye!!! Flavorful, perfect cook, perfect char, beautiful presentation and fairly priced. The broccoli was also amazing. My experience at Cafe on the lake was exceptional.

The corn and shrimp bisque had one shrimp and about five corn kernels. It was the first brown corn bisque I’ve ever tried and it tasted like actual dirt. The fats were separated from the soup so it had been sitting a long time. The panini was pretty, but not edible. Hard as a rock bread, that wasn’t the sourdough in the menu. The chicken was dry and hard but swimming in pesto. The tomatoes seemed past their prime or previously frozen. Don’t let the pretty menu and decor fool you into expecting good food.

This is the first time I've paid for a hyatt breakfast buffet in Houston. And it's been the same or worse than all the 4 other buffets I've had. Just go to a different hyatt, get it for free. my fault for not listening and not paying attention in the morning, but I've spent at least a month in hyatts in the past year. I'm just going to switch to a hotel that requires less thought in the morning.
And no access to lox and salami is not worth the 32 dollars

Came here for breakfast, and was very disappointed in food. Typical $25 hotel brunch buffet, but the quality of food was much worse than I normally expect for a hotel breakfast. Eggs were cold and very clumpy and bacon was very gristly. Service was not great, but it was clear that they were super overwhelmed with the number of guests at the restaurant. Drove to a different spot for brunch the next day, and it was cheaper/tastier.

Food had good flavor but came in a small portion, waited 45 minutes to receive a meal so small it didn’t even fill me up. I was also provided with the bill for another patron which thankfully I caught prior to signing for.

This is a real nice place but the service was very poor. We had to be searching for a waiter to get coffe or drinks. It took them about 10 mins to give us a credit card back after we paid. Moreover, the place was about 10% full.

Food is reasonable ok for a hotel like this in the Houston area, but that is not for what my 5-star review is about.Any morning I had the change to walk in the restaurant a smile always received me saying good morning and pointing me to Mr P., who most of the time helped me while getting my breakfast.A 5-star review for both Mrs. Ana y Mr. Pedro…..who made my morning every time they welcomed me.Gracias AnaGracias Pedro
Very nice...I had the burger on a brioche bun. It was cooked to order and flavorful. Fries came with it and they were so so good. I filled up on them. The staff was excellent! Great atmosphere.

This restaurant was really convenient since we were staying in the hyatt. They let us order takeout so that we could bring it back to the room. We got breakfast and it was delicious. The eggs were perfect, not the fake powder eggs. The bacon was thick and flavorful. My toddlers shared a pancake. The pancakes are thick, fluffy, and pretty big. The kids loved it. They also gave us fish food to feed the koi, and my oldest loved that!
