I love this place - it makes you feel like you are on a vacation in a charming European village. Menu and food are excellent - although I would love to have lamb back on the menu. Service was excellent. One suggestion is that when you have 5-6 people at the table, you might need additional table space for all the delicious wines and food that is being sampled. Other than that, a delicious and wonderful night out.
One of the best mussels and escargot in town. Hands down. The quaint atmosphere along with the good old-fashioned recipes make Rabelais a true reference for French cuisine in Houston.
We came here for a double date dinner with some dear friends. This restaurant gives NYC French cozy vibes and has great food and wine. Highly recommend the escargot and pate special for appetizers and steak au poivre, moules rabelais, and beef bourguignonne for entrees. We also had the raspberry tarte along with some coffees and hot tea. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a solid and authentic French spot in Houston!
