We went to Annie Cafe' on Monday night, early, and just after Thanksgiving, so it was almost empty! The service, food, ambiance are all excellent. It was very quiet, although it is usually pretty load, when full of people. It was a lovely celebration of sorts.
Great anniversary experience! It was Halloween, so the place was about 1/4 full, which accounts for the low noise level and the relaxed, unhurried meal. Everything was fabulous, with two very minor complaints. (1) we are accustomed to reduced salt, but did not ask for that, and so the scallops in particular were salty for us. (2) there was a very small amount of grit in the spinach, which indicates not quite sufficient washing. But as I said these are very minor complaints against...
I had the most incredible time at the angels bourbon dinner event with 3 course meal. Everything from the host (Blake), to the manager (Sean), to the speakers were incredible. The food was perfectly prepared and brought out in a professional manner that even while serving 30 people everyone ate at the same time. The drinks were top tier and I learned a new love for bourbon. They were extremely courteous and took us the private speakeasy in the back afterwards which was full of...
