Went here based off the high reviews it had. Very underwhelming. The coffee was awful. The muffins looked like they were bought from Sam’s. The service was not great either.

I’m trying really hard to support this local coffee shop. But I tried their iced matcha. Not only they forgot vanilla cold foam that I paid extra for, the matcha doesn’t taste like ceremonial matcha. This would be my 3rd time getting coffee or matcha. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location.

Coffee was good. Crepe also good. Nice environment for studying, reading or working solo or with small group. Plenty of outlets for charging. Dark and cozy atmosphere.

This place is SUPER cute. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and the coffee was excellent! Crepes were delicious and such a unique item for a coffee shop. Will definitely be back.

Arrived close to closing time, 3:40p on a Friday. My husband and I have been looking for a local coffee shop and got excited when we learned about this one. Even more thrilled about their crepes! When we ordered though at 3:41p we were told they weren’t making anymore crepes, while in the process of making a crepe and that they stop at 3:40p.
It really jaded the experience. Coffee was good, but it was overall disappointing that we couldn’t be accommodated for being one minute late, when they are literally in the process of making one. Its unfortunate and may drive us to look elsewhere.

Love this coffee shop very welcoming and great customer service and most importantly the coffee and matcha are so delicious, i just wish they were open a lil later but other than that i totally recommend.

Update: Most recent visit I did a pick up for ice Matcha latte and they forgot the cold foam which they charge extra for. Looks great in photos, but their coffee tastes generic and they don't even use ceremonial matcha 👎 after 3 visits I will not be returning.

This is a cross post of my Facebook review. I ride around Houston exploring for new cafe shops and am using the 2025 houston cafe passport and telling at least those in my world about my experiences. This is from my recent visit to Cafe La Luna:
Continuing the Houston coffee trek of 2025. Wanting to stay a few minutes from home because it's hot, I found myself this afternoon at cafe la luna. Very unassuming from the outside. If you're not looking for it you could drive by it. Inside it's Inviting and welcome. Playing Latin smooth jazz on the playlist, this definitely has a different vibe that I like. I normally order hot coffee but on a 90 degree Houston day after the rain we've gotten this week, that's not in the cards. I Ordered an iced coffee they say is one of their popular iced coffees called the honey bear até and it's delicious!. Even though the book often has recommendations, I like to ask the baristas working..
They do serve breakfast here, I would definitely come back to enjoy that. I mean, how can I not love a place serving up Cafe do Brasil?!
