I'd like to 1st say I go out of my way to support black business owners. This particular day I brought some friends who were visiting Houston to check out Cali Kitchen HTX. There was about 10 of us.Unfortunately the service and experience was horrible. We were barely greeted when we entered the establishment . If you sit on the patio you have to order your food from a kiosk. There was no service/waitress or waiter for the patio. Noone to ask if you needed anything or had an issue with your food. We had to go find a staff person if we had any questions etc. When your food is ready, your food is bagged in a to go box and plastic bag for you to pick up yourself from the host stand. When some ppl who were also placing food and drink orders asked for water from the bar some were told they had to purchase water.The Philly cheesesteak was horrible my fries were limp from sitting in a to go box. Another person in my party wings were under cooked. Another person in my parties order must have been forgotten because she had to go ask where her order was after seeing everyone else orders come up. Whomever the staff woman was we were able to find to ask for help had unpleasant personality to be working a restaurant. Over all the space is cute but lacking in the quality of food and customer service. I will not be back!**************************Response to the very rude and unprofessional response to my review. Who does that? As a consumer the purpose of a review is to share my experience. How ghetto of you to tell me not to come back. Don't worry you can bet your last dollar I will not be back, as well as making sure anyone else who asks about your establishment to go somewhere else!I can tell you lack emotional intelligence because anytime anyone has any unfavorable feedback for you , you're very defensive! Grow up!!!! Maybe you should invest in some etiquette classes to teach you how to respond in a professional manner cause you look very ignorant to talk to a consumer in this way!
