Fabulous food and great ambiance. Friendly staff and great service! My friends and I recommend this restaurant. The shrimp and pork egg rolls are delicious. The drinks our amazing!!! I look forward to visiting again.

I'm shocked at how good the food was! I had the ribs, dumplings, salmon, and beignet for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back!

Our waitress was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and made our experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lady at the front who seated us was just rude and unwelcoming, which gave us a bad first impression.

Wonderful dining experience! My wife and I have been dining at Le Colonial for years, and the food, service, and atmosphere have never disappointed. We are already looking forward to our next dinner there.

Tried it for the first time ever today and people skills are required by the wait staff. One waiter for the entire restaurant. Waitress kept going to back for long periods of time. People would come in and leave as they weren’t being greeted. Food was average.

As usual, Le Colonial remains one of our favourite restaurants in Houston. The food is exquisite and the service is always great!

This place is amazing. This is a definite go to when we are in the mood for this cuisine. We ordered appetizers. Fresh shrimp rolls, pan fried dumplings and spicy shrimp stir fry. Food is always good and comes out hot and fresh.

Everything was delicious! However, not enough food. We had the prix fixe menu for Valentines Day dinner. With the main dish being Sea Bass. It was amazing, but we left the restaurant hungry. For $125 per person, this should not happen.

The St Valentine Dinner was a set menu ( 3 course meal)that for the cost it wasn't worth it. $125/ person. It took a long time to be served and the food came cold, like it has been sitting out there for a long time. The food selection was not the best they could offer. Typically, I love the food here when you could order from their main menu, but it seems that it's the price to pay for having dinner on St. Valentine's, when the restaurants are trying to capitalize on the high demand.

Was our 50 wedding anniversary, I booked few weeks ago, they put us in a terrible table, close to the door were waiters were going in and out, than we asked to be changed, this time we seethed us near a computer where many employees needed to use, I think will be the last time we will go to LE COLONIAL IN HOUSTON 😡

I've been here several times in the past few years. Typically the service and food are excellent and I feel the price is worth it. This last time, not so much. We did the Valentine's Day meal, which was $125 per person. The service was very very poor and the food was just ok. Definitely not worth $126...very disappointing.

Over priced Valentines menu for what you actually received. The food came out of a fast conveyor belt to hurry along your dining experience to get more customers in that evening. Smart business model, poor customer experience.

Food was okay, service was poor. I asked for chorizo and received something totally different. The server was apologetic yet still charged me, or at least tried to. I walked in the restaurant was dark and they allowed me to eat in a dark restaurant.The manager came and turned on the lights when he arrived when I was finishing up my breakfast. When I saw I was being charged with a meat that I did not receive, i was told I had to pay for that item which is ridiculous since it was the server's mistake. The manager did however make it right. I will never dine there again
