Cajun zing wing (10/10) is my thing, but lately, the wings are smaller, and that kills it for me. The gumbo is amazing. It just needs a little hott sauce, which makes it (10/10 ). calliope house rice is mid. I give it like a 5 something is missing, yes, but the portion size is amazing.
Don't let my trading fool you I go back everytime, my go to place

During my recent visit, I encountered a concerning issue: a small roach was frozen in the ice of my strawberry lemonade. After noticing it, We discreetly informed the cashier to ensure the ice machine could be cleaned and the issue resolved without drawing attention. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the situation professionally, the cashier became defensive and raised her voice, questioning how the roach could have gotten there.
Our intention was simply to prevent future customers from experiencing the same issue and to help the establishment avoid potential complaints or legal problems. However, her reaction made the situation unnecessarily uncomfortable.
Additionally, there was an issue with my order. I requested that the coleslaw be replaced with fries, but the cashier insisted that the small fries included with the meal were the substitution—despite the meal already coming with both fries and coleslaw.
While the food itself was good and the initial customer service was satisfactory, the way this incident was handled left a poor impression. We didn’t seek a refund; we just expected a more professional response. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning.

From New Orleans.After going to different location, we came to this location on Friday. It was pretty good. Fast service. Took food to go ,parked and ate half of po-boy sandwich. Had to eat it while hot. ?

I eat here all of the time and it’s always good. Some things on the menu need help…. The etoufe being #1 the only word to describe it is gross ? super acidic and under seasoned. My favorites are the Po-Boys, Suicide Shrimp Box, Boiled Seafood, and the red beans and rice. The employees are really nice and the environment is clean and lunch type of vibes
I found this place dri through the street going to other stores. I being from Mississippi was missing my poboys and gumbos from back home. I stopped by and I took a lucky chance to try this place out. Boy let me tell you the roast beef poboy is nice and juicy I licked my fingers like a little kid. I was impressed about this restaurant I doubt it from the get go but I been coming ever since staff is so wonderful with respect at the drive thru. I am grateful to have found this wonderful restaurant makes my feel like im at home eating good food with quality in it. Thank you for giving me and my family a wonderful experience. I will keep coming back for your quality service.
I've visited Calliope's a lot to get their seafood boil,Hot Sausage Po-Boy etc.

The catfish isn't fully cook feach fries precook!! Very disappointed in services upon my meal. Then over charge precook food

I understand crawfish are not in season but they were served frozen and smothered in the juice. All crawfish were bad and mushy. Peeled Shrimp were the same. If you are serving seafood not fresh change prices or don't sell at all! Very bad experience, should get a refund ony food.

This place is a joke, i ordered a 6 piece wing , i wanted what i seen in the picture they advertised but instead i got 6 tiny party wings that could fit in one hand . And they was nasty ? this place is going to hell for that

I was there on May 30, 2024 and I wanted catfish, they told me they had catfish but they gave me swai fish. They calling Swai fish catfish.. they don’t have Catfish here!!
