I was very hesitant to post this but i recently visited this store and it was the SAME issue. My server was AMAZING (EVA was her name), just to make that clear that was not my issue. Food was good as well but my issue was the atmosphere. As I stated before this was my second time dining here and both times I had to stare at a bare behind (whom I believed is the store manager’s). It is not a pleasant experience/view, specially when I am trying to enjoy my food. Literally lost my appetite.

Daughter and I got the pick two platter.. Not the name, but can't remember. Me, scallops and oysters. Her, stuffed crab and oysters. Comes with fries, small hush puppies and coleslaw and bread. Bread and fries are meh, freezer bag style.. Oysters, small, mostly breading.. Scallops are covered in cornmeal.. Stuffed crab had a good taste, but all breading and shrimp instead of crab.. It wasn't worth it for my cheat meal.

Just tried to order and speak the the main male employee at the front counter... he ignored me until I ordered To Go. He needs a course in courtesy. His name is David. Next time I return..... this better not happen.

I had 30 minutes to eat lunch and was craving gumbo, stopped by on January 10th and sat at bar for 10 minutes. No one offered to serve me, watched the bartender clean but no acknowledgement from him. I visit this place at least once a month not sure I’ll be back.

I wouldn't know how the food taste as this was suppose to be my kids and I Christmas dinner but the restaurant was closed. Postmastes had that they were open to 8:50 but upon googling it stated open and close at 6P. It does state that Christmas hours may vary but if you closed you shouldn't be active on a food app and shouldn't state you are open on Google especially if ppl are looking for Christmas dinner spots. This was a inconvenience to me as that was my last and now I got to wait for a refund

I called and ordered my food over the phone and when i went to pick up my order and I noticed that the lady that was cooking the food in the kitchen was touching the food with her bare hands. She did not have on any gloves at all. That is very nasty and unsanitary so I asked them to cancel my order. Because of that i will not be going back.

My coworker had a take for some fish for lunch. I recommended Captian Benny's on Rankin Road. When we walked inside we met a gentleman standing at the cash register who refused to acknowledge us. Later we found out that his name is David the General Manager. We asked another gentleman to take our Order and when he started taking our order David rudely interpruted him and took our Order. David if he is Actually the General Manager he needs to work on his customer service skills. It gets better he kept telling my coworker that her credit card kept declining. She called her bank it reported no problems. Also, when she received her food it look like a kids meal small pieces of fish and small portions of fish. My and I will never return to this restaurant. Terrible Terrible Customer Service.!!!!!
I came here after a friend highly recommended this place. This old Caucasian man named David did not even acknowledge our presence to take in our order, acted as if he did not want to serve us. We had to repeat everything twice and he kept frowning while dealing with us. As soon as another Caucasian person came through, he was all warm and curtuous with them. I did no come here to beg for your food sir. If you don’t want black people to come eat there just put up a sign and we will not come bother you. Regardless, that was my first and last time patronizing this place.

Yesterday me and my husband and grandson went and had the worst service from the worst waiter in America. He reached over my food several times, would hardly acknowledge my husband, just a lazy individual. Just because of him, we won't be coming back.

The place is nice, the food is delicious, the only bad thing is that the dish is very poor. I ordered jumbo shrimp but the shrimp were very small. The cabbage salad was very sweet.

First of all the establishment was very small and "homely" the service was nice but kinda quirky. The food was trash though ?. I got the stuffed shrimp and my dude got the snapper and the shrimp were meh had a sweet taste to them which I didn't like. The snapper was very very salty! Sheesh! My dude is a big guy he would have demolished that fish but he barely ate two bites! Won't be returning here.
