This review is based off of today's order. Usually I have the stewed chicken and it is great. The soup was good; however, the chicken patty is not good at all. It was either old or burnt, it was definitely waste of money.

I visit this place frequently and Ms Tandra always takes care of me well, well. I’m there at least 2-3 times a week. Unfortunately I visited when Ms Tandra wasn’t there, and the owner served me and I always order 2-3 rum punches every visit. I purchased 2 and bc I was told it was only enough left for one more- I decided to purchase the last one as well, so I purchased 3 in total…When I got home- the cup wasn’t full at all- actually it was a little over half full and I was charged full price. I feel this should have been recognized and a decision should have been made to not sale it to me or to charge half price bc it was half full but she (owner) charged me full price. I frequent this business too much and I’m a very well known customer and with that being said- I expect to be treated as such. I would welcome a response or upon my next visit to make this right. Other than this issue- I have no complaints about the food… but when Ms Tandra is there- I never have a problem with my order bc she makes sure everything is in order and correct. Kuddos to her - she’s always very friendly with an inviting smile🙂

The lady that answered the phone was so rude. Placed a to-go order, she’s yelling at someone in the background as she’s taking my order. I ask how long it would be and she couldn’t Ben give me an estimate kept saying “maam we’ll have it”. I simply asked for a time and she wouldn’t give me at minimum an eta. Definitely not patronizing a place cooking my food with shitty service. Do better, or hire extra help so you’re not so stressed taking out on PAYING customers!

Thank you so much to Angel and Tandra! Authentic and amazing flavors! Fast and friendly service! Never disappointed with the portions. Best ?? Jamaican food in Houston! Good music and vibes and great drinks! Small but long standing for a reason. Worth the drive from any side of town.

This my first and last time ever going there. Food was horrible I literally threw it in the trash, not worth a penny! The place look so bland and the costumer service girl attitude was trash just like the food, it wasn’t giving a real Jamican restaurant attitude, (should’ve known the food was gonna be trash). Save y’all money and don’t believe the hype the food is not good enough for them prices.

Thank you for supporting Houston during Hurricane Beryl. You were one of the first places to reopen and I y’all a shot and it was some of the best food I’ve had. I found a new favorite place to eat, and also thank you again for being there for Houston.
