Randomly stopped in with a group of friends on a Saturday night and had an awesome time! From the moment we arrived, the energy was spot on and set the tone for the rest of the evening. A huge shoutout to Chris, who immediately made us feel welcome, he was super friendly and attentive the entire time we were there. Ricky, our server, added the perfect touch to the night. He knew exactly what drinks to suggest and totally nailed it with his recommendations they hit the spot! With The Nomad being on top of my list! Overall, it was a great and fun experience. First time here - Spicy mezcal drinks, tiki inspired cocktails, delicious Mexican-flare bites and snacks. Definitely try the tostadas. Also bonus: they have green chartreuse! The vibe is so warm with great music and better people. Thank you Chris for a wonderful experience!

Absolutely phenomenal place to grab a drink. I do not drink but I was roaming Houston with my bestfriend from Canada and we wandered in for Happy Hour. Rick greeted us warmly and got us seated by the bar. Dim lighting and $10 cocktails so we were down. Little did we know we were in for a wonderful treat.
I got The Prestige and couldn't handle the taste since I usually liked something sweeter. Chris, the bartender and manager was making the drinks. He did not hesistate to remake me a drink that was more up my alley. I enjoyed it thoughly. They use high quality alcohol here. Ten bucks of liquor that will force you to take slow sips, enjoy conversation, sit down and savor the atmosphere.
Chris and Rick took such good care of my friend and I. It was a chilly night and they got us seated by a heat lamp eventually which was so comfortable for the rest of our tipsy evening.
They gave us 2 extra shots on the house and made sure we were doing ok throughout the night. Kept our water cups filled and asked for feedback on our experience. Again, I don't drink but you best bet if I ever do I'm coming to Casa Nomad on Friday Happy Hour.
PS. Eat here to pass the alcohol it's good. We got the Lasagna Mexicana. Take a nap in the car before driving home!
