I've now visited 3 times, and attempt to try something different each time. So far the chicharron has been my favorite! Extremely crispy, and the sauce is beyond flavorful- heavy on the spring onion, but the sauce is extremely well balanced and delicious. I could not stop eating it! The chilaquiles are also wonderful and a good portion as well, the green sauce is tangy but smooth and does not have too many green chiles. The mole enchiladas are very rich, and definitely recommend...
We had their chilaquiles de suadero, chicharron, and the pork huarache and everything was well plated and so delicious. The Chef is from the state of Veracruz, and it's well represented in all his dishes. I recommend the A/C setting be adjusted accordingly, as the food tends to get cold quickly when eating inside.
I came to Ema to get some work done and have a coffee. The food looked so good I had to order some chilaquiles with salsa verde, and they did not disappoint! Very delicious. However, by the time I was done ordering I realized there is only 1 plug in the whole restaurant and NO WIFI! I had to use my phone’s data to do work since it was too late to cancel my order and go someplace else. The flat white tasted okay but was a bit watery, I will definitely order a different coffee...
