This was our first tru Mexican vegan restaurant and we were not disappointed!!! Everything was delicious and had great flavor. We ordered the La Enchilada and Chili Relleno. Both dishes were fantastic. Very filling. For dessert we ordered the flan. Again, delicious. It was nice having f them to allow us to have our dog on the patio as well. I would highly recommend!
The food here is so good! Exactly how I remember enchiladas from before I was vegan. I didn't even know how much I'd been missing this. Also the flan is excellent
Cascabel has a huge menu with something to please everyone. We love coming here as a large group/family because everyone leaves happy. Everytime!
-taste of cascabel - 9.4/10 excellent -tamale plate - 9/10 great -horchata- 6.8/10 good, but too sweet Great experience overall, but had to dock a star because my partner was super turned off by something, she said there was a strange chemically or plasticy taste in the cilantro rice. She said she smelled the same thing inside the restaurant. She said she likes cilantro and it was not just cilantro.
Amazing, me (vegan) and my boyfriend (non vegan) both loved it.

The food was excellent! I ordered the Beto's Nachos with mushrooms like a fajita- styled protein. My Mom had the Torta Cabana sandwich. She absolutely loved it!! We had Hibiscus drinks, also very Good ????

My wife & I stopped by after church for lunch, this was our first time here. There were only one other table of clients when we sat down. I explained to the server that it was our first time there, and was trying it out. I ordered drinks for my wife and I using Spanish. The server was very rude when I did not use the correct term in my conversation, making sure to correct me in English.
In a short time, she came back to the table, and asked for our order. My wife ask, were where the drinks? She replied that it takes time to make them and that we should be patient. We explained we were not ready to order, but will be in a few minutes. The drinks came, and they were good. We sat there for another 20 minutes without our server returning. By this time, several other parties had come in. Most the tables next to us had ordered with another server, and were already eating. I told my wife that she has 5 more minutes to return to our table to take our order. If she does not, we are leaving. She never returned. I walked up to the greeter and explained the issue and that we would pay for our drinks and go. As we did this, our server was behind her, loading a tray with another tables order, and never said a word. We never were able to sample the food to say if it was good or bad, but the service was very poor.

Excellent service and good Mexican ambience.
A very good Mexican Vegan place indeed. Loved the free chips and sampler salsa. The salsas have a definite bite to them and can easily be called spicy to very spicy. There is no mild or medium to them.
The Tamale and Chile Rellano plates are very good. Enjoyed them to the fullest, having seen them not available as vegan or vegetarian options usually.
The Spanish rice is better tasting than the cilantro and lime rice. Enjoyed both charred beans as well as black beans. Interesting to see you can choose among multiple beans options and rice varieties for the plates. Definitely makes one's options to be great many with this.
The Vegan Flan is very good and not too sweet or overpowering, which it usually tend to be.
The Capirotada dessert we ordered turned out to be an interesting as they mixed salt for sugar ??. That's a shock to the taste buds for sure. They made up the mistake with free flan for the table.
Parking could be challenging easily here.
Overall a very good place for Mexican Vegan food.

My friend recommended this place. I saw it had vegan options but I wasn’t expecting the entire menu to be vegan. It was ok for what it was. I’m not a big fan of meat substitutes. I’d rather just eat veggies if there is no meat so I may not be the best judge of their food. It was a quiet little place so if you are vegan you may enjoy it.
Vegetarian options: Is all vegan so vegetarian will be ok here
Dietary restrictions: The whole menu is vegan and they have gf options too

Nice little neighborhood spot with a variety of delicious vegan dishes. The sampler appetizer is a great way to drive different items all in one.

I’ve eaten her a million times over the past few years and love it. I usually order their quesadilla with their different protein options. Non vegan family/friends love the food as well!
