Great food, this restaurant is very pleasant and comfortable to have dinner. The menu items are perfect.
We enjoyed this restaurant. Service was excellent but a bit slow. I think the waiters were serving multiple parties in different rooms. But the food was wonderful and we enjoyed the live piano. We look forward to returning.
Food was decent but service was a little slow. This is a go to spot for me but then I saw a mouse scurry across the room and out the emergency exit. I don't think I can go back now after going for the last 8 years.
Visited Cavatore for a birthday dinner, been here a couple of times it was good. However, this last visit was far from. Made a reservation informed them of a birthday dinner celebration. Got to the restaurant, no table prepared. Nothing offered for the birthday person. We were sat at a table on side of the bar. The waiter was not friendly at all, seems a little scared and nervous. The food portions are very small for the price, the cheese sticks were over cooked. Just not a good experience on this visit. Don't think we will be back unfortunately.
Cavatore Italian Restaurant is one of Houston's top Italian spots. Service is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming vibe. The tableside Caesar salad is outrageously good, and snapper entrées stand out for freshness and flavor. Leave room for their irresistible tiramisu and chocolate cake. Cavatore blends authentic cuisine, lively ambiance, and memorable desserts into a truly special dining experience.
I’m a long time cavatore customer. It’s getting sad to see one of my few special places slowly sink. The 3-5 items we like are still great. Rest not very. Service and staff have been going downhill as well with new staff. If they don’t sit you in the piano room you might as well leave as you don’t get service. It just doesn’t have that special night place vibe it always had before. We have gone from almost weekly to monthly to maybe not again. I know the legacy people are gone but please don’t give up or give in!

A landmark on Ella…a charming family owned Italian restaurant. $3 dollar any beer on tap and the best carbonara. Live pianist and bread for days. Bookmark Cavatore’s!

Food was very good, and the portions were generous. Service was a bit spotty, but considering it was a Tuesday night, it may have been due to being short staffed.
Awesome food! But only two womens bathroom stalls. One was broken. Packed with people. That was the only inconvenience.

Delicious! Went for my birthday celebration with family. Food was excellent. Got the pasta piscatory, house salad made in front of you and turtle cheese cake. All delicious.

Excellent service! Greeted upon entry and had multiple staff stop by the table. Everyone was very friendly. Food was great!!!
Was excited to revisit this place after 30+ years and it did not disappoint. Food was still amazing. Only wish that the music playing during lunch would have been more geared to ambience of restaurant.
Prices are a little on the higher side. The food is good but not amazing.

I was totally disappointed. Jenny ordered the chicken Parmesan. It was burnt. They took it back and she asked for spaghetti and meatballs. They gave her a child’s portion and charged us $25 for spaghetti and meatballs. Really, the bread was only half seasoned with the oil and and baked. I’ll never go back.
