I usually only go for the tortas or the menudo on the go. Both are good but the menudo is served poorly. They put it into a 32oz styrofoam cup. It comes way too hot to be packaged that way to go. I ended up with my menudo inside the plastic bag they tied it in. I had to stop at Family Dollar on my way home and buy a plastic container to put the menudo in it before I lost it all inside the bag. Customer service is non existent when you think of presenting food for consumption. They need more or another staff who are pleasant. I adore menudo and could probably eat it more if I felt like dealing with being treated rudely and off handedly. That’s my truth.

The burritos are great. Unwieldy, as a burrito should be. I love that they are large enough to require concentrated effort to maneuver properly into the mouth space. However this is far more difficult to do when they're cut in half so I ask my burrito to be not cut in half But they are so practiced in the art of burrito that it's muscle memory to wrap it then cut it. So I have to hover at the counter and see when they're about to cut it in half then remind them that I would like it not to be cut in half. I do not like telling professionals how to do their job and hovering at the counter there makes me anxious and that is the only reason I give one any less than five stars and only for the service category here. It is with regret that I give any less than five stars because the food is excellent and the service is otherwise great.

I came for the first time today at 8:30pm and ordered a beef broth, they brought it very salty and the spoon was dirty, I asked them to change the broth or just cancel the order and the cashier's response was rude, she just said "No." It's my problem, that's how they prepare it and I couldn't do anything” so I didn't change it or return the money. Terrible service. I do not recommend this place at all
Very basic business, go up to the register and order off the menu located overhead. The interior looks a little rundown but has plenty of space for seating. The inside feels humid and warm, during the summer this makes for an uncomfortable experience.The quesadilla plate was plenty of food and is cheap. However the cheese in the quesadilla wasn't all the way melted but still tasted good. The rice and beans were great. $15 for the quesadilla plate and a large horchata. The green salsa tasted good but the red was horrible, all liquid and no flavor. Also, the sour cream was too watered down.The business is usually not busy so service is fast. However there is a dull feel to this location. Some decorations and music would help to make a more enjoyable meal. A big negative was a loud customer or employee who was eating at the register counter. He was playing a loud video on his phone that had a lot of profanity and engaged in an annoying conversation with the staff.Over all not a good experience.

The staff was really friendly but the food was terrible. I ordered 3 barbacoa tacos and I barely ate half of one. I think it was venison because I had a horrible kid. I ordered a burrito and ??I don't recommend it.
