We ordered 3 different bowls and each one blew us away with depth of flavor, intense yummyness created with authenticity and uniqueness unlike anything else in this city! We will be back, often, as i feel the entire menu needs exploring. Wait staff were incredible which just put the icing on the cake. Thank you!

I enjoyed my experience at chopnblok, I got the greens and tings bowl, stewed plantains and meat pies. I think my favorite was the meat pies it’s delicious and melts in your mouth. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re at the POST Houston. I will def try out their new location in montrose soon!

They offer a partial halal menu and the staff were really helpful in helping us navigate what we could eat. Trust me when I tell you, this was one of our favorite meals in Houston!

I Had “The Golden” This Was 10/10 Very Flavorful With A Bit Of Spicy I Believe It Was Grilled Curry Chicken With A Jambalaya jollof rice With sautéed vegetables and a creamy curry sauce. I Enjoyed The Service & The atmosphere It Was was Definitely A Vibe & Will Be Back Soon !

This is some of the best cuisine I’ve ever had. I love the plantains and the curry sauce! Every element in these bowls is so so yummy 🙇♀️
Parking: Pay at kiosk after your visit or through your phone.
Wheelchair accessibility: The POST Houston is accessible but this shop is very tight. It might make it difficult to navigate a wheelchair.

We ordered party trays from the Montrose location to serve at a Kwanzaa program my sorority hosted for high school students. The ordering process was very easy and they were pleasant to work with. The mini pies and jambalaya were big hits. I have also dined in at the Montrose location and love the Goddess Salad. I highly recommend them and can't wait to go back.
The food was outstanding! I tried a sample while walking around the food court and immediately knew where I wanted to eat. I will definitely be back!!

I recently dined at this chopnblock restaurant, and I must say, the food was incredibly satisfying! Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and every bite was a delight.
However, my experience was somewhat overshadowed by the customer service. Upon our arrival, it was raining, and the hostess informed us that there wasn't any seating inside. Yet, she then proceeded to ask if we wanted to sit outside despite the wet conditions. This felt a bit confusing, and it would have been better if she had offered a clearer explanation or alternative seating options.
Despite the hiccup with service, the amazing food more than made up for it. I’m looking forward to visiting again next month when I’m back home. Overall, a great culinary experience with some room for improvement in service!

The food here was so delicious. Personally, I just wish if was a little spicy but oh well. I had the Greens & Tings with shrimp. I liked the unique flavors especially of the stewed plantains. My husband is vegan and he had The Motherland. He’s also a tough critic and without me even asking, he said “it’s good”. I was shocked that he said that out of the blue after having a few bites because his opinion on food is usually “it’s okay” or “it gets the job done” lol
