Don’t eat here. They advertise a lunch special price then try to rip you off charging more. We saw that the menu board behind the counter advertised a 1/4 chicken special including sides and drinks for $12.99 until 2:30pm. It was 2pm when we walked in. The cashier quickly told us the system is charging $18.99 for the lunch special due to “a new system that just changed.” We asked them to honor the advertised price that’s on all their menus. The cashier pretended to call someone and said yes, they can honor the lunch price. We then tried to order the special with dark meat and the cashier told us they just happened to run out of all dark meat chicken. They only had breast left. We left after that. Did not like the cashier’s tone or attitude. Won’t be coming back here again.

This place was simply amazing . I got the 1/4 chicken , fried rice snd salad . Everything was so flavorful and fresh . Staff was nice and they also have fresh juices ‘ will be back

Chick Houz has hands down the best chicken in all of Houston! The team is super friendly, the vibes are great, and the food… absolutely spectacular. Honestly, every dish I tried was a hit — no misses here.
If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and take a little trip over there. Try it and you’ll see exactly what I mean… pure deliciousness!
Huge shoutout to Chef Roberto Castre for the amazing service and genuine kindness — something you don’t find everywhere these days. I truly felt right at home. Highly recommended!

Super good food here! Chicken burrito was top notch with flavorful black beans and rice. I tried the yucca fries and they were delicious. The sauces are very good and the green medium sauce is the highest I am willing to go as it is hot. Friendly staff and clean facility. Lots more on the menu I want to try so I will definitely be back!

I had the 1/2 chicken platter and churrasco burger. I was very displeased on when I got my burger it was undercooked and closer to raw. If it was pointed out somewhere in the menu it’ll be like this I wouldn’t have an issue but it wasn’t.
