My girl got me a plate from here just now, I HAD to leave a review! Maaaaan...this food is fantastically amazingly delicious as hell! I mean, all she said was a fish plate with cabbage, yams, and Mac and cheese. That was enough. Then I tasted it...crazy good. It looked good and tasted even better. Nothing but good things to say. But only suggestion is to try everything in one bite on the fork after you try everything once individually. Trust me...

A very ugly looking building,BUT WATCH OUT BECAUSE THOSE ARE THE BEST SOUL FOOD CHICKEN WINGS IN HOUSTON,THEY ARE BIGGGG,PERFECT BATTER AND JUICY MEAT,THERE IS GENTRIFICATION YGOING ON THERE BUT WHEN CALI AND ALL THOSE OTHER STATES FIGURE IT OUT THEN WATCH OUT,ONLY THING IS THAT ASIAN OWNER DOESN'T SEE WHATS COMING.

If ur eating this spot you can’t be mad at the location or the locals. It is what it is in the 44. This spot has hands down the best shrimp fried rice a chicken wings!!!! Worth the drive & if the neighborhood is too ratchet for you, tell that to all the gentrified neighborhoods all over Acres Homes. ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️
