As of 15 NOV 2025, this restaurant has closed! We were visiting from Austin and were totally surprised to find out in person. We called with no answer, we arrived to the doors being covered and locked, with no cars in the parking lot.

I do not understand why a restaurant that's clearly shut down would still allow and accept online reservations. So absurd. Me any my family drove 10hrs to Houston in celebration of my daughter's 18th bday, show up before our reservation time and to our surprise, the place was closed. Doors locked and not one vehicle in the parking lot, but lights were still on. So unprofessional. Do better James Harden. At least update the restaurant site to reflect it being closed.

The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I don't live in Houston but when I visit again I will come back to this restaurant

9/29/25 We stopped by on our way back from Galveston still had a ways to get to Humble. It was about 9 pm. We walked in there was noone at the hostesses stand. My husband ask the bartenders where to sit, they told us anywhere. It took about 10 to 15 minutes before someone came over to us. Mind you it wasn't busy at all. The waitress had a nasty attitude when we told her we didn't have menus. She walked off to get us 4 menus, threw them on the table walked away she didn't even ask what we wanted to drink. We got up and left. If it wasn't for the nasty attitude we would've stayed. 2013 I tried their food and got food poisoning. I was hoping this would be different experience.

1st time visiting 8/26/25 just after 11:30am for a pick up order. I've seen this place for years and today I decided to try the shrimp torta with fries. It was disappointing. There were only 4 pieces of what look liked reheated shrimp that barely filled half of the torta. I might give this place another try in the future, but if not there are way better options further down 45 S.
