To be honest, I hate giving 5 star reviews because half the time I don't think they are real. However, I think Christie's earned this from me.
The oldest restaurant in Houston definitely deserves a shot. Our sever was so kind and knowledgeable.
The house made cocktail and remoulade sauce are a great little detail that they care about.
Great value, no complaints, had to give it a 5/5.

We had a party for work and needed an amazing side dish. The Au Gratin Potatoes were the HIT of the party! Everyone went crazy over them! It's been a while since we've dined at Christie's but we will be back for sure!! The catering team was amazing as well :)

The absolute FRESHEST seafood in Houston - hands DOWN! Service is impeccable. Food is always hot and on time. Waiters and waitresses do not allow you to miss and / or need them GREAT food! Oysters were in season and delicious fried.

Historic, friendly, professional, delicious. I needed a break from BBQ, so researched some of the oldest restaurants in Houston and found Christie’s. What a pleasant experience! It’s an old school, full service seafood restaurant your parents and grandparents would’ve gone to and been happy to take you. The service is friendly and efficient providing instant comfort. I never felt rushed nor as if I were just another customer to turn. That’s refreshing in this era.

had a large party here - food and service were excellent! Fresh seafood - well prepared and great flavors as well as great service made my experience memorable and worth a return! Must try the fettuccine alfredo and fried seafood platter!

I've been a patron of Christie's for over 50 years. My father would take us to the Austin location in special occasions.
The food is consistently wonderful, and service is impeccable. I had the oyster stew, which was delicious. The salad is always fresh. I chose the fried oysters, which did not disappoint.
