Church's Texas Chicken

The manager doesn't know what he's doing. I waited 30 minutes for an online order to be told later that someone else had picked up the order. Why didn't he notice before and tell me at the time? I had to waste 30 minutes for him to tell me, "No, I don't have the receipt for that order. They already came for it." Lol 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

The chicken had been cooked, not sure how long, wasn’t hot. This wasn’t so bad because we ordered take out. The chicken was chicken. Nothing to brag about. The okra was cooked when we ordered, it was good & hot. The mash potatoes were ok, to much gravy. The restaurant looked clean. Bathroom was clean. Staff was nice.

ZERO stars if i could. to start off i rarely get church & This was my first & LAST time here. I went through the drive thru, was told 15 minute wait for spicy chicken which was fine okay whatever. I'm told to park so i do so, 20 minutes go by & i decide to go inside and ask for my drink at least and see the status of my order. Upon entering, which thank GOD i did, my goodness, i noticed there no more than 3 people working, i ask for my drink, and im standing there waiting as i see this young boy packing orders with roaches RIGHT AMONG THE FOOD, he's completely unbothered which shows they're just used to it at this point. I was inside for a total of 5 mins and saw 4 roaches literally on the counter top where they're packing up the sides and climbing up the wall to the top where the chicken is stored. It looked like they were clocked in among the workers i mean it was just disgusting them completely ignoring they're there, then i didn't notice at first until a gentlemen who came in after me pointed it out as he was ordering, the young boy packing orders was working with open wounds on his arms, not covered at all complete health hazard. no ones wearing gloves and they're all acting like the roaches are their normal co workers. First & Last time here. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Chicken was not hot, had been sitting long enough for the skin to be soggy. Everything was cool at best. The pepper was good though.

I tried to give a 0 Star rating. Staff was rude, Food was horrible, Management had zero knowledge of Churches platform. I waited over 30 minutes and still was not satisfied. No one in the restaurant seemed to know anything. Every request was denied and every question ended with an I Don’t Know. I would NEVER!!!! Come back to this place.

They took almost 1 hour to make a 2, 5 piece chicken and they were arguing the whole time while making our food
