The service was absolutely horrible! Our waiter kept forgetting our drink order we waited 45mins for her to show up and take our food order. Overall just a horrible experience

They advertise happy hour but fail to disclose that it's not available on days close to a holiday. Black Friday, while not technically a holiday, was treated as such and the establishment was nearly empty, with only my group and two other patrons present. The food was mediocre and not worthy of a return visit, and the drinks were watered down. However, what made the experience even more disappointing was the manager's extremely rude and unwelcoming demeanor. At our table, we were charged over $20 for drinks. Conversely, someone in our group was charged happy hour prices for a drink at the bar on the way out. When I requested to speak with the manager, the bartender went to retrieve him, but he declined to come over, instead sitting at the other end of the bar. I approached him and he explained that it was a holiday and the bartender had incorrectly charged us, citing a pre-opening meeting about happy hour policies.

Only thing is they didn't have Dancers that night and that's what i am only went for to celebrate my birthday.

Service is terrible. our server came to our table once to take our orders and never came back. Also never received our orders after waiting for an hour. There was no entertainment and overall bad experience. I still got charged 100 dollars and never got a single drink or food item to our table.

We spent 2 hrs at Ciel, and did not even receive the drinks/ shots/ food we ordered. Came in at 9:25PM and left at 11:25 PM (valet check in/out). We waited outside to be taken to our table, and no one ever came. Then a few other customers just walked in, and followed. We are moved to a table, and not a single server stopped by to even give us a menu. We finally stop one of them. They take forever to bring out the menu and take our drinks/food order. We then called them back for an additional order of shots. 2 hours and nothing came. Unbelievable! We finally told the waitress, that we wanted to cancel the order, she said she'd bring our drinks right now. She apologized for the delay, and we agreed to it, but only the drinks; as we no longer felt like spending more time there. It was not such a busy night. They all just kept walking by. And after an additional 10-15 min with no drinks/shots we finally left. My cousin was traveling all the way from France, and I wanted to show her a good time. Needless to say last night was a complete disaster and embarrassment. I have never experienced anything akin to this. I am still perplexed, this is the poor treatment we received. Beyond disappointed!

It takes A LOT for me to leave a negative review, but CIEL missed the mark in so many ways! It took 15-20 min for our waitress to greet us once we were seated. It wasn't super busy, there were employees walking around everywhere, so it was odd that it took so long. When she finally came, we actually had to ask for water and menus. I ordered Caesar Salad and Fried Calamari, and asked for my Calamari to come extra crispy. It came soft and rubbery. My salad had 3x more dressing than it should have had and was soggy. By this point I was starving so I ate it since I couldn't eat my Calamari. Waitress never came to see how we liked the food or if we needed anything, so I finally flagged her down after about 20 min, told her that my Calamari was not crispy. Her response was to show me that she put the order in correctly. No apology, no “let me fix this for you”, she just showed me she hadn't made a mistake and took my plate to the kitchen. In the meantime, another table near us had waited so long for someone to greet them that they decided to get up and leave. They were there for at least 20-25 min, and were never even served water. I flagged the manager down to let him know that he had lost a table due to poor service and that our experience was similar to theirs. He seemed offended! No apology, no “what can I help with”, he just walked away with an attitude. My friend's blackened chicken pasta came without chicken. My other friend had to remind the waitress twice about the drink she ordered. I sat with an empty water glass for 20 min, finally flagged my waitress down to ask for water then waited another 15 min for it. I ordered the sliders as well, when asked how I liked them I told her they were very dry and she responded “ok”. We waited for our Uber 6 feet from the manager. He didn't even acknowledge us, ask how our meal was, thank us for coming in. That's not fine dining management material. Terrible service all around, food was a 4/10. I do not recommend!

It was our waitresses first day working as she was alone... It wasn't very strategic for management to put a new employee working alone during Sunday brunch.  so there were a few hiccups during service.

We made a reservation for The Sunday Ritual on 08/31/25 to celebrate a birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and checked in with the hostess, who let us know our table wasn't ready yet but invited us to wait at the bar. Unfortunately, the bar was completely full, so we had to stand. We noticed multiple other parties in the same situation. Twenty minutes after our reservation time, I followed up with the hostess. She said she had the table but was waiting for it to be cleaned, and estimated it would be another 10 minutes. Luckily, a few bar seats opened up, and we were able to sit and order drinks while we waited. But even 40 minutes past our reservation time, there was still no update — and the hostess was nowhere to be found. We spoke to several staff members, who seemed to escalate the issue appropriately. Eventually, someone I believe was the manager assured us it was being handled. But during our wait, we saw that multiple parties who arrived after us — some with later reservations — were seated before us. Even more frustrating, we watched this same “manager” taking shots with patrons at the bar. That may help explain why nothing was getting resolved. After waiting over an hour, with no apology or meaningful communication, we felt completely unwelcome. We decided to finish our drinks and leave. As we exited, the manager and hostess watched us go — indifferent. The bartenders were amazing. But the rest of the service was disorganized, inattentive, and unprofessional — especially from leadership. A really disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion.

The poor waitress did the best she could but she needed help. The service was slow, our orders were messed up. It could have been better. The food is always good.

We were really looking forward to the experience, especially since it came highly recommended by friends. When we arrived, the owner was very welcoming and pleasant , which made a wonderful first impression. Unfortunately, the rest of the evening did not meet our expectations. Our server came across as dismissive and irritated whenever we asked for something, and the food was disappointing. We ordered a filet and simply requested it be cooked a bit more, but the server refused, saying it had to remain as originally ordered. This left us feeling uncomfortable, and we ended up cutting our celebration short. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful, and we truly wanted to enjoy it, but the service and food were such a letdown that we would not return.
