Hey friends, let me share a funny story with you. We discovered an awesome carrot cake at a restaurant. It was so tasty, full of wonderful spices, amazing cream cheese, and just the right sweetness. It was so good, we couldn't stop going back, mostly for the cake!Eventually, we found out the cake was from Cielo Desserts in downtown Houston. Since then, we've been hooked on their stuff! For my husband's birthday, he had his heart set on their (tollhouse) chocolate cake. But guess what? I ended up ordering another carrot cake by mistake. No regrets, it's that good!So if you're looking for great desserts, give Cielo Desserts a try. Their treats aren't just yummy, they brighten your day. And remember, it's totally okay if you end up with an extra carrot cake.
Let me introduce you to an epicurean adventure, my friends. The tale began with a serendipitous encounter of a heavenly piece of carrot cake at a local restaurant. Each bite was a blend of perfect spices, a delightful cream cheese that was smooth as a sonnet, and a sweetness that was like a gentle, comforting whisper, never overwhelming. It was such a culinary romance that we found ourselves returning, not for the dinner, but for the surreptitious love affair with this celestial carrot cake.We finally had our "Aha!" moment when we cracked the Da Vinci code of desserts. The architect behind this masterpiece? Cielo Desserts at 610 Main St, downtown Houston. Since then, we've been loyal patrons, walking down the confectionary aisle with over a dozen cakes under our belt. And there lies the story of my birthday. I had my heart set on their Tollhouse cake, a dreamy yellow cake veiled in rich fudge frosting. But as destiny would have it, my husband 'accidentally' got another carrot cake. Well, I can't blame him, for who can resist the siren's call of Cielo's carrot cake? So, dear dessert lovers, if you're seeking a dessert experience that's akin to a Broadway showstopper, look no further than Cielo Desserts. Their treats aren't just desserts, they're pieces of joy, meticulously crafted to make your day a little sweeter. Do give in to the carrot cake's allure, and remember, "accidentally" ordering an extra cake is totally fine! ?
Found her bakery on Tik Tok as I’m from out of town and was going on vacation! Got the Berry White cake for my sisters birthday and it was a major hit! It was delicious! Not too sweet, very light, and moist, and she took so much care in packing it up! She was also so incredibly nice, you can tell she takes pride in her work! If I am ever in Houston again I will absolutely be visiting her again!
We tried to find this place for cakes after dinner. It is just a cabinet inside of District Market. Cakes looked pretty sorry. There are no dessert bars left in downtown I was told. The listing should be changed as it is incorrect.
Very cute place. They also have a deli and a wine bar.
Amazingly good cake!! Fresh, tasty, beautiful!! I ordered Red velvet cake.
I have ordered almost everything off of this menu & can honestly say that I've never been disappointed. Their snickerdoodle & oatmeal raisin cookies are absolutely delicious; the strawberry cake & tollhouse cake are the perfect sizes and always fresh; I love the lemon meringue tart and chocolate brownies. I just wish they were open for delivery more often!! Give them a try. You will not regret it.10/2022: This business is now selling their goods to restaurants only, although I think you can still get custom cakes via their website. You can find their AMAZING desserts at places such as Empire Cafe (off of Westheimer) & District 7 Grill. Just a heads up, if you're ordering to go via a delivery app, it seems that Midtown is a little cheaper than their Eado location.
Good macaroons, good service. Lots of other things to buy like prosciutto and cheeses..
This is not a dessert place. It's a fancy market "District Market" with a few overpriced cookies and cakes.

Best in town!
My nephew loved his cake.. it was also delicious! Will order again! Curbside pickup was a plus ?
Amazing Pecan pie! Great service.
Best in town!
We ordered a custom birthday cake from Jennifer, and to say she knocked it out of the ballpark would be an understatement!! On top of being an edible work of art, it was incredibly delicious and it was gone in a matter of minutes!
