The food was good, as I love bbq and it would have to be horrible for me not to like it. However, it was hot in the restaurant, leading me to believe that later in the day, the food may not be safe to eat. In addition to that, the heat may be why the employees don't have smiles on their faces. They're very dry and I had to chase down the server to tell her of my 2nd order. She had already handed me off to the cashier. I asked that the bbq sauce be on the side and found that they didn't put it in the bag. Before I could sign the receipt, the cashier guy had walked away...no tip for that! I attached the receipt to the ink pen and had to gently toss it across the counter so that they could get it. As I was getting condiments another customer commented on the "borderline-rudeness" of the server and how hot it is in there. (Medical Center location)

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in, the place was completely empty. There was one gentleman behind the counter. He looked at me, didn't say a word, and started putting water in the food holder. He continued this and looking at the passersby for about 5 minutes. I walked out. I will be coming to TMC for the next several months and was looking for good food around the hospital. I will stay clear of here and let my coworkers and patients about my experience.

BBQ was not what I was expecting. Chicken had no skin, that's not BBQ. The menu did say smoked chicken breast my bad. Did not finish my 2 plate meat. Service was very fast. Atmosphere is very welcoming and they have a happy hour which I took advantage of last time. My recommendation would be the baked potato all the way with chopped beef. That was good last time.

Nasties bbq I had in my life. Mac and cheese no flavor and the potato salad taste sour. I'm only giving a 1 because the meat was just ok.

Great balance of ingredients on the BBQ Burger, what a BBQ Burger should be. Above my daily lunch allowance.

Food never arrived. Can't give it a rating. No idea who screwed the pooch. The restaurant? Grub hub? Yelp? But I won't be trying this again

My visit to this wretched restaurant left me feeling violently nauseated, a nauseating sensation that consumed me long after I escaped its clutches. Despite a facade of friendliness, the staff's inefficiency was an agonizing test of my patience, as a solitary soul sluggishly sliced meat and served customers at a snail's pace. But the true affront came when I received the bill--a jaw-dropping $50 for a trifling trio of sliced beef sandwiches, a pitiful offering accompanied by an insultingly overpriced assortment of chips and drinks. This audacious display of culinary highway robbery has left an indelible mark on my memory, ensuring that I shall never subject myself to the horrors of this abominable establishment again. In summary: They need new cooks, due to the salt levels in the brisket. The food needs to look like the pictures on the Menu. The health inspector needs to be called to make sure the food is being stored and cooked properly.Good thing they are located in the Med Center because you will need a visit to the doctor.

I really wanted this to be good because it is right next to the building I work in. I had the 2 meat plate with chicken, ribs, mac and creamed corn. The chicken had pleasant flavor but was dry. The ribs were very dry also which could be because they gave me the end pieces. The ribs were also very salty. The corn tasted great but it had all the salt it could handle. They could have added an extra 16oz can of corn to it and you wouldn't need to add more salt. So if you took a bite of the ribs you couldn't eat the corn because now they both taste way to salty. I saw someone described the BBQ sauce as "Ketchup with extra black pepper" which is pretty accurate. But like that thin ketchup not a good thick ketchup. The mac n cheese was pretty good. I have no complaints with the mac. I'd go back if all I was getting was the mac. All of this for $19. I read some mixed reviews so maybe it's dependent on what pit master is working. $19 is to much for me to roll the dice on which chef is working. 3-24-23

Not too popular, not above average BBQ, the lady doesn't speak much English and messed up on my order, plus the drink machine was out of ice. It has great location downtown, though.

I don’t know how this place is open. Brisket was tough. They were out of turkey, chicken, mac n cheese, ice, fountain coke, and tea. Offered a bottle of coke instead. The green beans started like saltwater from the ocean.

Food was alright. It's a decent lunch spot. I'd go again if I find myself nearby and hungry, but there's better places around that I'd rather have.
