Service and atmosphere: The service was outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and super helpful. The staff was offering to carry food to the table. The restaurant is big, clean and well organised.
Food and drinks: The food was very tasty and delicious. They offer home made style dishes with great variety of meats, vegetables, salads and desserts. I had turkey. The meat was very succulent and well cooked. I would recommend salad with cheek peas and feta cheese. You can opt for alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

New Years Day dinner at Cleburne's! Cafeteria at it's best - tonight they provided every customer with a free dish of Black Eye Peas for the New Year! We had fried catfish w/hush puppies, steamed cabbage, macaroni & cheese, cornbread, turkey, cranberry sauce & dressing w/gravy, sweet potatoes/yams . Servings were large enough for at least 2 meals! The yams were outstanding with a taste of citrus & cinnamon and sweet but not overly so. Catfish was big thick planks, served with maybe the best hush puppy I've ever tasted! Dessert for at home was bread pudding with sauce and German chocolate cake - slices big enough to feed more than 2 people.
The dining room staff are to be commended - those ladies are pleasant, friendly, and attentive.
This was a great way to begin the new year!

Each year , this food becomes nastier and nastier. I can literally smell the food that has sat there a long time. Christmas Day , purchased chicken , they were supposed to give me 3 pieces. At first the server gave me 2 legs and a thigh when I clearly said , mixed. Then they brought out the 2 legs again with a 1/4 piece of a dry breast. Overcooked, the Mac and cheese was good, but the rice and other sides ..No! So I called and complained, little dude told me I could come in and get another plate. Attitudes! Oh my goodness, racist like qualities, you bring out the chicken fried chicken, smelled like it had been sitting there all day. Then the arrogant cashier, “what do you want! With an attitude, then lil dude , had the nerves to have an attitude as well. Why were you speaking to me that way? Please stop hiring relatives and folks who are angry. There should be different ethnicities across the board. Truly, the ones you have working there are truly racist. I spent almost $50 on a plate that would’ve cost me $20 at Luby’s with better tasting food and better attitudes. Thanksgiving Lubys Owner and managers were the nicest people.
Sad , I remember fondly eating at Cleburne’s as a young girl and they started the integration in the kitchen and everyone was nice. Not so much now. Will never set foot in that place again. The attitudes are horrible. They do not seem to understand what you are saying. Again the food is subpar. Not the Cleburnes that I know.

This place was sooo good! The service and atmosphere were extremely welcoming and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Mr. George, one of the owners, personally thanked us and gave us a gift card to return. He also gave us a few desserts to try and I cannot wait to come back and also recommend this place to everyone!

Went to Cleburne today and had another great experience. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious—I especially love the salmon and the broccoli and cheese casserole. And the German chocolate cake? Truly top-notch. Service was fast, with staff constantly pre-bussing (which I really appreciate), and the manager, Tina, even stopped by to check in and make sure everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be back!

Today was the first time my daughter and I bought food from Cleburne. We ordered roast beef with sides to go. I don't ever recall eating roast beef ANYWHERE that was this tough to chew, this is a choking hazard! Not sure if it was the quality of meat or the cooking method but definitely a disappointing experience! If we return, definitely won't get the roast beef!
