I really wanted to like this place. The front of the restaurant is nice, but they had Karaoke going on and there was no room up there. The back area is very dated and smells old. The garlic bread was below average. The red sauce in the lasagna is very acidic. Damn shame because the lasagna itself was delicious. We had two other pasta dishes with chicken and shrimp that were about a 8 out of 10. The salads were really good. We didn't have dessert. I really wanted to like this place because of the other reviews. But I think it's time for some updates and a little oversight in the kitchen.

Food was wonderful as always, It was about 1 in the afternoon. I ordered the Sante Fe Chicken. The waiter told me the lunch does not come with a salad and asked if I'd still like one, I said yes figuring I had a dinner menu and the lunch would be cheaper and I'd just be charged 14.95 for the dinner. Got the bill and I was charged 14.95 plus 4.95 for a side salad. Clearly states on the menu a salad at the 14.95 price. They lost me on this one.

The food was amazing, the whole stuff was awesome. One of the best Italian restaurant, if not the best that I have ever been to.

Claudia and I have been dining at Clementine's (@ Champions and 1960) for 3 decades, and it has always been a great experience for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special buffets like Easter. And, it still is. Every dish we've tried, even Chicken Fried Steak (one of my favs) on the extensive menus is exceptional, provided by the Sicilian Chef with 50+ years experience. The prices are still unbelievably reasonable. When asked how he maintains such low prices (in the face of runaway inflation), the hospitable Christian Lebanese owner Elias told us he hasn't raised food prices in 4 years (but he has raised liquor prices)! We exhort you to give it a try, help meet his payroll, and keep him in good business.

I loved this place! Awesome food and service. I was visiting Houston, but if it was in my city, it could easily become my favorite. I highly recommend it.

I've lived in the area all my life and I've never been till now visiting with a relative from out of town. The waiter was a tall white older gentleman with an accent. I don't know his name but he was very nice, checked on us off then the waiter was a tall white older gentleman with an accent. I don't know his name but he was very nice, checked on us often.. I ordered the Clem special for breakfast which is basically a grand slam from Denny's. I asked for no sausage or bacon because I don't eat pork and he offered to just ring up the eggs and pancakes a la carte because it would be cheaper. I appreciate what a server tries to help you out saving money. My scrambled eggs were perfect unlike some places that overcook the eggs and then they're hard. My relative got French toast which looked amazing and also the side of fruit was just not how some people just throw some cheap cantaloupe together. The prices are competitive for the area. I never went in before because I assumed the place that looks so nice and quaint would be expensive but it was not expensive. Total bill for two orders of eggs (2each) pancakes, French toast plate that comes with bacon and a side of fruit came out to only $22 including tax.
I'm looking forward to trying it out again for their evening menu.

The main entrees were really good here. The salad was tiny and had the weird lettuce that looks like tree leaves that I don't like. Lol But that's just my preference. The garlic bread was good but it was just a few small pieces. The decor was really cool. It's like you're on a city street. Ambiance was different.. There was a group of what seemed to be older regulars performing karaoke so I felt a little out of place. I would definitely go back for the entrees though. My daughter had a bacon burger and it was really good and I loved my chicken parmigiana and spaghetti. Both meals had a lot of food and really good flavor.

Our server deserved 10 stars. I’m so sorry for not remembering his name (tall black and spoke Spanish). He is bilingual and made our Fathers Day lunch amazing. Not a fan of the Halibut because of the saffron sauce. But waiter offered to bring me something else. Let me be clear, I didn’t like the food because of personal preference, not because the food was poor quality. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers. The atmosphere was great.

I ordered to go. I got the grilled catfish with shrimp and crawfish etouffe. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I dont usually leave 5 star reviews of food places, but this place was not bland at all, very flavorful and for a very decent price. I will be coming back here n bringing my friends. Very delicious

Fantastic find! This is why I love Texas—so much to discover and explore. See the bacon on that BLT? And those lightly breaded, crispy onion rings? This old business still holds on to the traditional ways of doing things, and they're nailing it. Clementine's is now saved in my favorite eats folder.

There was a dead bug in my husband’s drink. The food was undercooked and disgusting. Do not eat here!
