They need a new chef! The food was okay 3/10, and very overpriced. Sadly, we're not coming back.

Went for dinner . Not sure about a few of the negative comments on the food but it was excellent and the service was great as well. Service Got a bit slower as the restaurant got more packed but that’s to be expected. Elegant restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. Great date night spot . 5 star all the way .

Overall it was annoying experience. Definitely not worth $500
Food was ok and really small m plates all.around. with so many people being squeezed in, the service was slow and lacking
The worst was the restaurant flaunting special old bags as if yhe has a special gift for that someone; But no, they ended up giving it to me instead of my Date, and it ended up being a $10 dollar cupon to try to attract more business.
I would have spent the money and given the special someone a nice pen, Keychain or even some nice chocolates.. this would have actually worked in getting more business for them for sure!

Went to Cocody last night to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and I’ll start by saying the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Super chic, aesthetically stunning, and definitely the perfect place for photos. My friend got some amazing birthday pictures. The ambiance alone gives upscale vibes.
Now let’s talk about the food because sometimes with high-end restaurants it’s more about the look than the taste… but not here. The food was actually delicious. Chef’s kiss to whoever was in the kitchen last night. I ordered the chicken, my friends ordered steak, and everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Even though the food took forever to come out (and being 6 months pregnant, I truly thought I might pass away waiting 😅), once it arrived, we ate every bite. No complaints about the quality at all.
The manager on duty was also very kind. At one point I was walking to the restroom and he noticed me and walked ahead to open the door. Small gesture, but very appreciated especially with my big pregnant self. That level of hospitality did not go unnoticed.
Now… the cons.
Our waiter was, bluntly, a prick. There’s really no softer way to say it. When I asked what sides came with the chicken I was about to order, his response was, “Well, it’s on the menu.” The tone was dismissive and condescending. The menu only listed chicken with mushrooms and sauce nothing about potatoes. So assuming it didn’t come with a side, I ordered the Cocody potatoes separately.
Then my entrée arrives… sitting on top of mashed potatoes. 🙃
So instead of simply answering my question like a normal human being, he chose to be pompous and make me feel like I asked something ridiculous. That interaction completely missed the mark for what you expect from a high-end restaurant. Service should elevate the experience, not make guests feel small.
Another con: we were told we couldn’t take photos on the stairs even though no one was there. For such a visually stunning restaurant, that rule felt unnecessary.
Overall, the food and ambiance were great. The kitchen and management impressed me. But our waiter’s attitude overshadowed the experience. I’m glad we tried it for the birthday celebration, but I wouldn’t personally return and I definitely wouldn’t recommend that waiter unless you enjoy being talked down to.

Had an early valentines dinner reservation yesterday. Nice atmosphere, okay service, but less than great food. I ordered the lobster pasta-it had almost no flavor and the lobster was extremely rubbery. When I told the server this, he tried to say that it’s from being extremely fresh. I told him that does not happen and that it’s from being overcooked-to which he agreed and then told us the chef/kitchen tells the servers to inform patrons that if it’s rubbery or tough it’s from being so fresh. He also said he gets a lot of feedback on that specific dish and that many people do not like it. The beef tenderloin wasn’t anything special, potatoes tasted like a plain potato in the shape of a cube. We had 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 desserts which came out to around 250. If you’re spending that much on a special occasion, you expect your food to be well seasoned. Will not come back. Also- be prepared to pay $20 for valet and have them not inform you of this.

Not a great experience. Came for a Valentine's Day date with my wife and did not enjoy it at all, service was abysmal. Staff was not accommodating when we asked twice to be moved to a quieter table/area (we were sat next to a rowdy group of 6 and could literally breathe on each others food), waiter didn't know what was on the menu when we asked questions and had to be switched out, restroom didn't work properly, mandatory 20% gratuity implemented meaning the staff doesn't have to try very hard or be nice. The chefs were skilled and food was delicious, however $20+ per drink and mandatory gratuity you would expect to have a better experience given that we were in Riveroaks. We left half way through our dinner to go somewhere else. I'd never come back and would not recommend coming here if you dine out regularly looking for a luxurious or romantic experience, if you only care about photos and a cute restaurant then give it a try. I understand having a long day, especially after a valentines weekend but I'm also in hospitality and would never allow someone to be treated as such especially when your bill is going to be $250+ for some drinks and appetizers.
Came for Valentine's Dinner, it was our first time at Cocody. Very busy night but they managed it fairly well. Awesome ambiance in the restaurant including an abundance of roses throughout the facility. The food was very good but not not off the chart great which wouldn't be a complaint except for the price point. Looking to come back and take advantage of the reverse happy hour in the future.
Ad hoc wobbly table. No room for comfortable seat. Feet had to rest on metal bars of table base or be put to side. Food was good, but not $200 a person good. I've spent that elsewhere for much better. Had a $10 coupon presented to us at the table. Not very classy or useful given the prices. Wish we could have sat at the bankettes in main dinning area. Overall a disappointing experience for the price.
The service team was overwhelmed with the volume of customers. My meal was extremely expensive for what I got. I had to wait until the third course to get wine. Overall, $750 was a little surprising given the value. Ultimately, my wife loved the food, but the service was lacking.

The experience was nothing more than a regular dinner at a fancy restaurant. They were very busy so the service was slow and lacking. The predetermined menue was ok but not fantastic as expected. This romantic meal for 2 that went over $500 was definitely not worth the price. I was also peeved that they flaunted a small golden gift bag ever-since we walked in the door, having everyone thinking it was a special something for your date. At the end of the meal they ended up bringing said bag and handing it to me, instead of my Date. To my surprise it ended up being a $10 cupon off a next lunch there, instead of being a special something for your date to remember this date, ocasion, and place.. Instead, it was like a small slap in the face.. 3 out of 5 stars..
The ambience was amazing, the service was AWFUL, and the food was mid. If you want to have a place for photo ops, it’s great…if you are expecting amazing service, it’s terrible.

Exceptional presentation of food. Our waiter was wonderful. Food was delicious and unique. Restaurant was nicely decorated for Valentines weekend.
The atmosphere is wonderful. The "clubby" dinner chairs were super comfortable. Our only negative really was each couple decided to "split" filets and the plates came out as individual entrees. So we were left having to split them up ourselves. Would have been ok if they had a split charge vs. having to divvy up ourselves. Overall, would highly recommend.
Came here for a Galentine’s outing and arrived already dealing with a headache, but unfortunately left extremely upset due to the excessive rowdiness of a nearby table. The women seated next to us were much older and disturbingly loud, making it nearly impossible to have a conversation. Management could have done a better job addressing the situation promptly instead of waiting until it was too late.
The entrées were well under-seasoned, however the cocktails, appetizers, and small bites were flavorful and enjoyable. If I were to return, it would only be for drinks and appetizers, as that was the best part of the experience.
