Service was fine, but a lot of menu items weren't available. We ordered the loaded nachos for the kids and I and most of the chips were crumbs and tasted stale. The beef on the nachos did not taste fresh and and as if they had been sitting a while. For $14 I expected more for nachos.

Got this while at the Texans game. Service was great, very polite and thorough and welcoming. I got the Carne asada melt with no onions and bacon breakfast tacos. The melt came with a side of Mac and cheese. Now let me tell you I am a Mac and cheese fanatic and this was some of the worst Mac and cheese I have ever tasted in my life lol. If they have anything to substitute go ahead and asked for that! The carne asada on the melt was well seasoned thank god. The bread was really thick and not toasted properly. Pretty disappointing. Breakfast taco was pretty average. Not memorable. I’m happy with the service and flavor of the beef but based off of this alone I will not be waiting in a long line for this. Not worth it for me. They did have plenty of other great looking menu items but I won’t risk trying them honestly.

PLEASE READ: I’m a big believer in never leaving bad reviews. Unfortunately, I have to do it this time. Before I wrote my review, I wanted to read the other reviews to see if anyone else had the same experience as I had and unfortunately some did.I came to the truck during the small business expo event. They weren’t super busy, but they had three or four people in line. I proceeded to place my order (beef quesadillas) and wait just like everyone else. I noticed that the people behind me got my food before me and it got me thinking. “Where is my food? It’s been some time now”So I went to the counter and said “is my food ready yet?” He says “yes, it’s been ready.” And then I proceeded to say “how come, the buzzer didn’t go off” and he says “I don’t know what to tell you man. It didn’t work.” and then I said “I’ve been waiting for almost an hour for my food and so many people got my food before me. You could’ve at least called my number.” he proceeds to give me the box and says “here you go.”Some background. I’ve been in restaurant environments and food truck environments in my high school and college years. Every order has a ticket number and is associated with a buzzard. If the buzzer doesn’t work he could’ve at least called my number but he didn’t do that either. Here’s the thing about me, if I’m not in the right state of mind, I don’t want to say something foul or out of line (as my religious beliefs are to always be polite). So I took the box and ate my food and decided to go about my day.But while I was eating I couldn’t get over the fact that this guy didn’t apologize. He didn’t even try to make up for the situation because while I was eating, my food was cold.So after I was done, I figured I would go back one more time to see if this guy would try to amend the situation.Do you know what he did instead? He tried to start a fight with me and make it look like I was the problem. He said that if I didn’t get my food in an adequate time that I should’ve came back to the counter and checked on it. Which, of course makes sense. But what doesn’t make sense is, if you’re operating a food service business and you see one order that hasn’t left your eyes - you should at least acknowledge it or do something about it especially if you want to provide hot food and good customer service. (That’s my rebuttal especially if it’s not that busy.)I have never seen this type of absurd attitude in my life where the business owner wants to start a fight with a customer who is upset and has every right to be upset. It’s business owners like him that open up businesses and will close up quickly because they don’t have any respect for money, nor do they have respect for their customers. My message to the owner is this, respect your customers, respect their money, and respect their time. No one is going to wait forever for a $14 quesadilla. And secondly, if a customer is upset, use your common sense to rectify the situation - not flex your muscles with an aggressive attitude and make things worse.I even tried to talk to your cashier and then he proceeded to make it look like I was trying to start a fight when really all I was just trying to do was figure out how my situation went so wrong.I had other workshops to attend to and I only had a few minutes to grab some food so I can go back to the workshops. And as I try to explain this to the owner, he didn’t care one bit neither did his cashier. Some additional background about me, I am a digital marketer, and I always offer affordable marketing services sometimes even for free to small businesses as I want them to always win and thrive in the journey of life.Unfortunately, I do not wish well on this business owner, nor do I wish him well on this truck - they do not have my blessing. I have never said this to any business before but his attitude was so off putting. I have seen the other reviews and what other people have had to say. It’s no surprise to me that other people have had the same similar experience. But truthfully, I don’t think the owner cares…

Absolutely terrible service. I waited an hour to get a small quesadilla and after an hour of this terrible counter person ignoring me and arguing with me when I just asked for a refund because I've been waiting an hour and he served everyone before me that came after me. Then the food came out and he said I can have my food and a refund and then when he gave me the refund he wouldn't give me my food and tried to have me thrown out of the venue. 0/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND!

Belligerent yelling customer in front of me and they were being as professional as possible at the Tenacious D concert. I’m very happy and proud of them. Highly recommend. Also the dude threatened him and he handled it like a champ.

Very good banh mi and veggie quesadilla. Wait was a bit, but the Vietnamese coffee was a great treat on a hot morning. Prices reasonable for being at an event.

Food was below average (we got the brisket sandwich and quesadillas) and way over priced. Way better food trucks out there.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! STAY AWAY!! First Lady taking the order looked pissed off angry at the world and still wanted a tip?? Second no sour cream no salsa but you're serving tex mex food. We asked gor jalapeños on the side that didn't mean in the quesadilla and salsa does not mean cholula sauce. If that's your interpretation of salsa just stop it and stop it right now that's an abomination to the Latin culture and tex mex cuisine. So overall food is a 0 and service is a 0!! $16 for a quesdilla no fixings and a bag of chips just ain't it!

The guy taking my order was SO nice! I told him it was my first time and he suggested the quesadilla. I ordered it with brisket and it was delicious and came with some bbq kettle chips. I also ordered the elote which was tasty but not spicy - and even got a free qold brew by checking in with yelp! The qold brew was refreshing and not overly sweet, I was a fan. Hoping to return soon!

Quesadillas were decent, corn was just a little off. No chips and salsa available but they serve bags of potato chips in place

They have a food truck at the Kirby icehouse, and this was probably the worst experience of my life. We ordered tacos and nachos and we were shocked that we had to wait over one hour to get our food. The staff was working as slow as molasses. There was no urgency about them and when we ordered, they did not inform us that the wait time for the food would be over one hour. The worst part was at the food did not even taste good. The tacos were way too salty, and the nacho chips were somewhat stale in the beef was old and dry. Altogether for just two items we paid over $30. It was such a rip off. I'm never going to go to this establishment or their food truck again. Even when I ask them how long the wait time was they were able to check but did not apologize or did not have show any remorse. This was such a waste of time and money.

This was my first time trying this food truck. The truck was painted black and I had to ask the gentleman working what the name of the truck was. Just looking at the truck did now make me want to eat from it, but the employees were nice so I asked about the menu items. I decided to order the brisket quesadillas, they can with only pico and a side of chips. My total can to about $16. Look at this picture and tell me it was worth the money. The food was horrible, the cheese was burnt. The chips didn't come in a bag. The chips looked like they took a small hand portion and put it in the container. They were not plain chips and didn't tell me what kind they were. It could have been something I was allergic to so I didn't eat them. Overall I will rate this truck a 1 out of 10. The food, lacked taste, presentation, an flavor. The ambiance was just dark-nothing that makes you want to check out the food on the truck. And the food definitely wasn't worth the price. I wouldn't recommend this food truck to anyone.
