Excellent food. Our table ate family style splitting pizza, pepper spaghettis and an amazing mushroom pasta dish. Our server Maura was helpful and funny and helped us pick our great food and drinks!

Still a shining spot in the Heights. The spaghetti with black pepper (cacio e pepe), the grouper, and the tagliatelle verde with boar are standouts. The backyard salad is delish. The wine selection is solid, too. All the staff are gracious and welcoming. Enjoy!

The food here is always great and I love that they rotate dishes seasonally. I really wish they would offer more single glass wine options; it is the reason I have them four stars. With all the Italian options on the menu, to not have a more extensive single serving wine choice is frustrating.

Solid spot. Kristopher was our server. Was there when we needed him but also scarce. Perfect combo. He knew every item on the menu and explained the dishes perfectly. Was very happy with the pasta and mussels. Will come back for pizza.
The beer and cocktail options are lacking but that's OK it's italian food so order wine. Will try to enjoy the patio now that nights in Houston are getting cooler on the next visit.

Always a treat at Coltivare. Food is fantastic (the fire grilled chicken is a personal favorite) and the covered patio is wonderful now that Fall is here. My only criticism would be the wine list - lots of interesting, creative bottles but almost all marked up 300% or more over retail.

I was there once and it was amazing! But the second time it was not the same impression. The food was very salty, we left it complete and the manager wanted to charge us for everything and was very rude. How am I going to pay for something I didn't eat because it's super salty? I never saw that before anywhere!

Very good casual Italian. The dishes are classics with a touch of originality and very well executed.
