I absolutely love this place. The manager is incredibly kind, helpful, professional, and super nice. The staff here is extremely friendly and very professional. I totally recommend this place and any negative reviews below are nothing more than just disgruntled people who don’t have anything better to do. You will have a great experience at this location. The people are amazing.

I have been frequenting Jinya ramen bar and then coming over to grab a nice dessert from Common Bond Cafe for the past couple of years (usually grabbing a pastry for the next morning as well). However, two weeks ago, I parked in the parking lot right in front of a Common Bond bakery to come and eat, and while I was eating, my car was broken into, and some valuables were stolen. When talking to workers, we were given the phone number of a manager there named Kate and told that she would be able to help us obtain footage from the cameras to hand over to the police. After communicating with Kate for multiple days, and her saying she is working on obtaining the footage, she sends a message that says she can see the car but that there wasn't a license plate shown. We replied and said that was okay; maybe the cops could identify the make, model, license plate number, etc. since they have better equipment to be able to do so. She then proceeded to ask for an email and said she was going to send over the footage. That was a week ago. Every time we call, they say she's not there, and she isn't responding to text messages anymore either. This ordeal has seemed sketchy since it happened. I don't like to accuse anyone or jump to conclusions. However, it is odd that Kate has been obtaining and sending footage for two weeks now and has already admitted to seeing the footage, so we know it exists, yet she never sent anything and stopped responding. We have let the police know about this and they said they have contacted her, but also haven't heard back. All I can say is I will no longer go to Common Bond, and please be wary when visiting this location. It's hard to tell what else could be going on here.

I came here with a group of girls on a Saturday at 10am. There is plenty of free parking which is always a plus.
When you walk in, you have to order at the counter which gives you an opportunity to look at all the delicious pastries they have available. They will then bring your food order to the table. There is a good amount of tables but I can see how it can quickly fill up if you were to go during their peak hours.
I had their birthday themed latte which was okay but their Quesadilla Chilaquiles were AMAZING! I do wish they had been hotter though.
I also had a Nutella croissant to-go and it was pretty good!
I would definitely come back!

This place goes above and beyond! My daughter is pregnant and cant have hollandaise sauce. Her breakfast came - with hollandaise all over it! She wasnt going to say anything, just got back in line, but the manager saw her and gave her a whole new breakfast!!

Although this rich chocolate cake was remarkably decadent, its inconsistent texture, ranging from excessively moist sections akin to tiramisu to dry areas, detracted from the overall enjoyment and would benefit significantly from improved uniformity.

Service is terrible at this location. Waited several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me this morning. Then, the lady behind the bar shoved my drink to me without even saying a word. Will not return.

I have been a loyal customer to this Common Bond location for a while! I enjoy the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I always order the yummy Chef Scramble. I went back a few weeks ago and after I ordered, I when I received the order I realized I had ordered the incorrect items (I have a baby at home and that night I had barely slept!), the manager Stephanie was so understanding and she helped me correct the order. The service I received from Stephanie, Domingo, and Felix was incredible! They made my day brighter! I will definitely be back!

The places are convenient since they are in several spots around town. I like the coffee here. The food is ok but I can’t say excellent. I’ve bought bakery items but it’s not my go to place when I need a good croissant or sweet. I just tried having lunch and I won’t repeat it, it’s really not a lunch place. I had a salad, it was too plain, 5 ingredients, one of which was rotten. I rather have an amazing salad at Bellagreen which is really a meal and very tasty for the same price and so big, two people can eat from one order.

The sticky bun was beautifully prepared but much too dry to eat without extra coffee. I bought an extra coffee and was rung up for a large to maximize the bill. Whatever happened to serving the customer what they want and need. So what I paid for a large when all I wanted was a regular, but it is the principal involved. The consumer is being squeezed on all fronts and Common Bond feels like they need the extra coin by ringing up large without asking. I hope their profit margins are to their liking, because their pastries aren’t to mine and I will take my business elsewhere.

Had the bhai mi salad and salmon salad which were both good. Went to order a chocolate chip cookie only to find out 2 bites in they gave us the walnut chocolate chip cookie and my boyfriend has nut allergy! (He had his medicine with him thank goodness) The lady said “I’m sorry” which at least refund the stupid cookie! Overall good place, but ruined the experience with the cookie!
(Updated review, the manager reached out shortly after the review and feel like she’s taking proper measures to avoid future experiences like the above)
