This Northside hole-in-the-wall restaurant is perfect for my middle age self. Restaurant during the day, and karaoke at night. After work, a few coworkers and myself indulged in beer, margaritas, affordable tacos, and drunken karaoke. Not packed so we enjoyed the ample space, and had a blast. Great servers, great food, good drinks.

This restaurant is not Mexican, they try to make the recipes but no. The eggs are semi sweet because they use a different sauce. The only good thing they have is the chip sauce that they should make for the Mexican eggs. No wonder I'm coming back. Besides, I went to the bathroom, the mirror said cabaret, I don't know what, and I also went to the bathroom and there was an employee there gossiping non-stop. I got tired of waiting and listening to people jerking around so I paid and I left. The chefs and cashiers and the owners sat down, the chef came out to tell them the order ?‍♀️. Good place just need a little guide. Not real Mexican food even though tortillas are handmade it has a touch of Honduran flavor. Not on my taste buds!!!

El Nopalito is a change for me. Its atmosphere is more like the Mexican restaurants, where I was growing up here in North Houston. Breakfast was great, and the tortillas are Home Made. The price on breakfast is reasonable, and the staff was friendly and kind. I will recommend.

Came during lunch time on a Friday and the service was great. We didn't wait long for the food and everything tasted pretty good. I got the lunch special, definitely coming back to try different dishes. The lemonade is homemade and is so refreshing ?

Ordered to go, didn't get any condiments or even salsa for my tacos. The Vegetable's in the soup are so big I cant even use the spoon. Maybe separating the to go soup from the dinning in soup and cutting down the size of the veggies as not to give a total of 3 or 4 veggies cause the size doesn't allow for more in the soup. Then the system didn't want to take my card by the time I made it home my food was cold and the tortillas looked 1/2 cooked, lost my appetite. Might try again but next time I'll be dining in.

A THEFT in plain sight, I ordered 5 breakfasts which would have been around 70 dollars. Maximum and I ended up paying 102 dlls, because they don't tell you that it is an extra 3 dlls for putting CILANTRO AND ONION on top of some chilaquiles, and the order of mini tacos costs 13 dlls plus an extra 5 dlls because they are pastor's, and it doesn't say on the menu and the waitress does not inform it either and the 15 percent more tip on the entire ticket total, I will NOT ever go back there, and the food is nothing out of this world, and the manager's attitude tells me that she is already used to complaints of this type

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! We had dinner tonight and the vibe was bad. We got there all the tables were reserved only had 5 tables available. The waitress took like 10 minutes to take our drink order we had plenty of time to pick what we wanted. It looked like she didn’t want to give us service. Alambres are TERRIBLE!! Not worth the 15 bucks the beans are gross the rice was oily avocado was sour. The lengua plate was ok not the best the flour tortillas were CRUNCHY. Do not pick those. The waitress never swung by the table after we got our food spent 45 dollars Definitely not recommend this place I hate leaving bad reviews but 45 bucks is a lot and for the food not to be worth it

Be careful how you order. Waitress got my order wrong and looked at me like I was at fault. Ended up paying 20.00 $ for 1 sopes and 2 drinks. Horrible experience. Refried beans were crusty and had no flavor. I highly do not recommend this establishment. Not ENGLISH speaking friendly!

Ordered a Jamaica with 'No Ice' bc cold beverages makes the person I brought along cough, so they actually gave me that. My coffee ☕ was Colombian, got a tres leches ? slice, and a ? mushroom Quesadilla. Everything was ? delicious and good portions (Quesadilla was huge and the flour tortillas are hand made ?)also they served us chips and salsa for free!!! Recommended this place, wished I ordered a 'Tamirind' Margarita, hey there is another reason to stop ? by again!!!Vegetarian options: They have it on the menu, and I myself got a ? mushroom Quesadilla and it was huge!!!Kid-friendliness: Saw one of the employees kid doing kid stuff, and he seems happy ?Parking: Right up frontWheelchair accessibility: Yes, ramp

This was possibly the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been too. Save your money. Queso was watered down, mole was spoiled and sour. Chips were burnt and salsa was water with some tomato bits. Chorizo plate had runny eggs hard tortillas and burnt. Restrooms smelt like someone left one sitting in the toilet for 48hours.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I don't review restaurants often. Usually my reviews are positive but this place will rob you of your money. First of all the food is ok at best so I already wasn't planning on coming back. When ordering the mini tacos you get to choose what meat you want. What they don't tell you is if you don't get fajita you'll be charged a dollar extra PER TACO. That's five dollars more than the advertised price. Same for choosing the meat in the gorditas. My mother asked for onion and cilantro on the side for her meal and they charged us an extra 3 dollars. Our bill went from 69 dollars to 102 dollars by the end with all the up charges they added. They even added the tip themselves. And they didn't go for 15%
