Great food. The owner makes you feel at home. And beers are always great. They change the beer menu. Which I love. The food is awesome. Pretty much I like all their sauces. You will not be disappointed. A must ?.We are headed there now.
If you love hot dogs or bbq you need to go. Food is so good and extremely friendly service.
Love this place, great food excellent craft beer selection and awesome Team (Owner is hands on and puts his heart and soul into the business).
Great place with great staff!
Ordered the Trifeca and pineapple up side down cake. The bread on the Trifeca was hard to bite through. The meat was tasteless and dry. They forgot my coleslaw, but when I did receive it was bland. The pineapple upside down cake was overpriced for the size. It is barely bigger than a Shipley's doughnut. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone.
Food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back! Wings are AMAZING
The food was teriffic and filling. The atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The beer selection was surprisingly impressive for such a small place. The desserts... OMG!!WE WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING!!
Barbecue is an almost universally loved food. If you’re a carnivore at any level, you are bound to love meat topped with a delicious and flavorful barbecue sauce. Add a great beer to the meal and you have an unforgettably satisfying feast. A place where you can get both barbecue and beer is Crave Hot Dogs & BBQCrave is a chain of barbecue restaurants that opened just a couple of years ago. This location, in northeast Houston, is the only one I have visited thus far. It’s a quick service restaurant and that means you walk up to the counter, place your order, and then wait for it to be prepared. They specialize in hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, brisket, tacos, and more plus they have a kid’s menu for the little ones.I love anything barbecue so I am likely to order a pulled pork sandwich or brisket plate when I visit. The sandwich comes with just a small serving of coleslaw on the side, which may not be enough to satisfy. I recommend ordering something additional from the sides menu. You can select among such options as cornbread, tator tots, beans, mac n cheese, and others.I like the food I have tried at Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ, but the real standout here is the beer tap wall. Sure, lots of places serve beer, but at Crave, you serve yourself! Yes, you just pay up front and then take your glass to the tap wall and start tapping the beer of your choosing. The electronic wall clearly indicates the price per ounce for each beer and it tells you how much you have left on your pre- pay account. I love this concept because it means I can sample smaller amounts of different beers and, as a beer writer/blogger, this is what I prefer.Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ is a cool place for a quick, hearty meal of barbecued meat and with its self- service beer tap wall, it is something everyone should experience. I can’t wait for the chain to expand and, hopefully, a new Crave location will open near my home very soon. In the meantime, I will continue to frequent this location anytime I find myself in the northeast Houston area.
Man this place was bomb! Idc what ya say. The food was BOMB!!! Definitely going back!
Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ is a quick service restaurant chain that just hit the scene a couple years ago. This location, in northeast Houston right next to the beltway, is the first and only Crave location I have visited so far and from what I have experienced, it is a place to which I shall return. The inside of this Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ location leans toward the small side. Orders are placed at the counter. You then wait to be served. They have televisions for sports viewing and a menu that features hot dogs, brisket, sandwiches, tacos, wings, and a kids menu, among others. With the sides, you can select among fries, tator tots, mac n cheese, beans, cornbread, and more. The food served at this Crave location is generally good and it doesn’t take long for food to be prepared and ready to eat. In that regard, it falls somewhere between fast food and full service. You won’t mind the wait, however, especially if you love craft beer. And I say that because Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ features something you don’t find in many other eating/drinking establishments: A self-serve beer tap wall. You pay up- front and then dispense the amount of beer you like. You continue until you have exhausted your pre- purchase amount. This is great because it lets you select either a little or a lot. You can sample several beers or indulge in a single large serving of your favorite brand. With barbecued meat being one the of the specialty items here, it’s cool that they have multiple flavors of barbecue sauce so that you can get the taste of your choosing. If you order a sandwich, make sure to add one of the tasty sides- the sandwich comes with only a small container of coleslaw and nothing else. Each item is priced separately unless it is listed as part of a combo meal. I love a great pulled pork sandwich or barbecued brisket. I also love craft beer and I can indulge in all the above at Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ. The food is good, but the real standout feature at Crave is the self- service beer wall. The beer, the food, and the sports viewing add up to a satisfying experience and I can’t wait for a Crave location to open closer to my home.

Great food & the beer wall is a wonderful bonus. Friendly & helpful staff. We have come here several times and will be back again!
It was horrible. I went there with high hopes. I live in the area and all the other places in that area are great.I ordered no onions on my food and when I received my food it was covered in onions. I returned my food got my money back and left hungry and sad.The person who I returned my food to did not apologize or anything.
They have an awesome beer wall where you can pour yourself using a wristband, and they charge by the ounce (on average around 32cents per oz). So you can sample a lot of different beers. The selection was great too. My husband and I tried the hotdog, hot sausage and the bratwurst and they do not skimp on the toppings. Will definitely be back!
Place is great!! Food is good the kids love there food too. It's always exsepionally clean!! The owner is a really nice man and truly cares about your experience. His wife is so sweet and loves her business too. The beer wall is a great feature, one of the main reasons I come in. I have loved this place since I found it. I tell all my buddies about the good food and great beer selection. Unfortunately this last Sunday 12/13/20 the employees closed the beer wall down early. 1st time I've ever seen them do that. Was told they had not had any business on the beer wall all day. Your not going to get any if you shut it down 2 hours early. Does it cost money to keep it open? I wanted my corndog beer!!!! Please don't close it down early, I mean you wouldn't not sell a food item just because no one else ordered it that day would you?
We had a wonderful time. Very clean. AMAZING food! Can't wait to go back!
