I ordered fish & shrimp with a side of red beans & rice, & cajun fries, I also ordered some shrimp with a side of gumbo & fried rice, I waited 30 mins to get a text that my food was ready it was COLD, the gumbo wasn’t good, the beans & rice wasn’t good & the fried rice was scorched really bad. I’ve been calling to let them know but the phone line stay busy

NO PARKING/HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I drove around waiting on a parking spot only to park across the street and cross a busy street in oncoming traffic. I waited over 40 mins for a table, despute multiple open and available tables, was finally seated only to wait an additional 15 mins before a server acknowledged my presence. I asked to speak to a supervisor who came to the table and took the order of the party who was seated after me at the adjacent table. I was there over an hour only to leave hungry and annoyed. I don't care how good the food allegedly is. ( I wouldnt know because no one served me) The service is not worth it!

I came here on a whim; I was in the area shopping at biglots & was hungry, craving carbs. There was a Pho place right next door but they didn't have dumplings. So I went to Googlemaps and Crawfish Cafe was just poppin out, waiting to be discovered 😍
I love crawfish places for the sides: the wonderfully seasoned corn cobs, potatoes & sausage. So I ordered fried catfish, 2 corns with thai basil & kickin cajun sauce, and the Shrimp Pack (garlic butter shrimp on cajun fried rice). Now, i know I was hungry but dammmm 👀 I ate half the fried rice sitting in my car before the drive home. It was delicious! And everything was appropriately seasoned and buttered; there was no lack of season and nothing was dry. Overall satisfying! 🤤🤤 I can't wait to go back for more!
And it might've been the time of day, but service was QUICK. I had just placed my order, barely had a minute to walk back to my car, and my order was ready! Maybe bcuz I didn't order anything huge like boiled crab or crawfish, but that was fastest service I've ever had anywhere! 🤯
I usually avoid restaurants in parts of town where traffic is frantic & parking is tight 😒 BUT the food was SO GOOD!, it just might be worth it for me. i look forward to coming back more often so I hope the food & service is 5 stars every time. Lol keep it up Crawfish Cafe; you have officially set the standard, now keep that same energy 👏💯
Parking: I went around 3pm on a Saturday, so the strip was full, making it impossible to find alternative parking without the risk of getting towed. I'd recommend going on a Sunday night for parking.
My overall experience was 10 out of10. I ordered the fried catfish with red beans and rice and potatoe salad also the fried shrimp poboy with Cajun fries. I would definitely recommend and order again!!

This is a consistently great spot for Viet Cajun-style crawfish. For my crawfish I like to get the Mix plus Thai Basil which is a combo of lemon pepper, garlic butter, and Thai basil seasonings. When crawfish isn’t in season, I go for the boiled New Zealand mussels or shrimp in the above sauce. We also love the cheese toast, shrimp and sausage gumbo, etouffe, calamari, shrimp and crawfish Cajun fried rice, and garlic noodles. The service here is friendly and responsive, and while I mostly get takeout, from what I remember they keep the place very clean. The decor is basic, but comfortable enough for a casual meal. I appreciate that there is a patio for an outdoor eating option. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!
Parking: 3 takeout pick-up spots in front, 12 dedicated spots in back, ~40 spots shared with other businesses in the shopping center

we stopped by on our day trip to houston and saw they had live crawfish so we checked it out. danny was our server and he was amazing!! super nice, helpful, and recommended the crawfish cheese bread which was so good. the food came out fast, it was hot, fresh, and amazing! 10/10 recommend!!
Took my daughter here for her birthday our server was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed we went on a Sunday atmosphere was very chill but friendly food was ON POINT AND FRESH no long wait I give this place a 10/10 very clean as well
My wife loves crawfish, so we decided to try out this spot on Shepherd after hearing some recommendations. The place has a nice atmosphere, and the service was decent, though it could have been a bit better. The food took longer than expected to arrive, especially considering it wasn’t very busy at the time. The flavor of the crawfish was different—not bad, just different. While it’s not my top choice for crawfish, it’s still worth a visit if you live in the area, though there are other places where the flavor stands out more.
