I hate to say it because I had high hopes for them since they been around so long. I got the small cheeseburger and the patty was super super thin. I only tasted onion and cheese. The pineapple shake was ok but not much of pineapple flavor. Its good if you want a cheap burger.

I never thought I would be saying this because this place is one that I had been going to sense a kid. When I ask the family what did they want to have for dinner, and I named out a couple of places, they immediately said cream burger. So I made the stop. I quickly know this that on the way home, the food didn't overwhelm the car like it normally would but that was a good thing because it would have made me start dipping into those extra fries that I ordered for such an occasion. But when I got home and we started eating, the first thing I noticed was that the bag didn't have that extra grease in it like it used to. Again I didn't think much of it until I bit into the burger and realized that not only was the meat dinner but it was dryer than it used to be. I know this the comments and videos I've seen of this place weren't all that great but I ignored them because I wanted to know for myself. Again, this was a childhood burger joint that I've always loved. I'm not sure why these switched ingredients but I hope this is just temporary.

I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently great, and I’m never disappointed with my meal. On top of the delicious food, the service is always fantastic—friendly staff and incredibly fast turnaround. It’s my go-to spot when I want a high-quality meal without the long wait. I saw this on some Texas bucket list thing and I don't get the hype. Don't get me wrong. it's good but I don't think it's a must visit spot
the burger was fine. it definitely tasted like a frozen Sysco Patty and not one of their particularly upmarket ones.
it was a little dry and a little overdone. I got a bacon double cheeseburger all the way with mayonnaise and mustard and it tasted a lot like Whataburger though it was a maybe a little bit cheaper
I also got the chili cheese fries. the chili tastes exactly like you think it would. the fries were a little floppy but well seasoned nicely salty pretty good.
it's cool this place has been there for 60 years and the woman running it was a total sweetheart. very nice lady
the wait was maybe a little longer than you are expecting, but they're cooking everything hot and fresh for you
perfectly good spot to grab lunch. but nothing revolutionary
