Our server had a strong accent that made communication difficult, and he was often busy with other tables, making it hard to get assistance. I even had to refill my own water, which is unacceptable. While the food was good, it wasn’t enough to make me want to return.

Our first time here and can't wait to go back! Beautiful establishment with impeccable service from our waiter Armando to many other staff members checking in on you. The food is outstanding. We had Vespers to start, Parisa, deviled eggs, stuffed crab, pan de campo, snapper and cornbread gnocchi. We ate every bite! The sommelier recommended a fabulous Italian white wine. Went to Credence in Houston last night for my wife’s birthday and it was an incredible experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We had the deviled crabs, monkey bread, oysters, and filet mignon, and every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The filet was cooked exactly right, and the appetizers set the tone for a great meal.
To top it off, we ordered two desserts that were absolutely incredible—the perfect way to celebrate. The service was excellent and the atmosphere made the night feel special.
Highly recommend Credence if you’re looking for a great dinner spot in Houston for a celebration or date night. We’ll definitely be back.

Okay. I had never heard of this place but I was brought here by a friend for a celebration. And let me tell you what…. EVERYTHING was amazingly delicious. We had drinks, monkey bread, grilled oysters, raw oysters, deviled crab, steak, barbecue gulf shrimp with the pimento cheese grits, butter whipped potatoes, heirloom blue crab rice, coconut cream pie, chocolate peanut butter tart, and the caramelized Texas Toast. The highlights for me were the devil crabs, the monkey break was to die for, the filet mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and my absolute favorite dessert was the caramelized Texas toast. We went to the Speakeasy after and had such a great time. Live music and the staff at both places were top tier! I can’t wait to come back. Everything was amazing.

I am down on vacation and this restaurant was suggested to me and my server was Renee when I tell you she was the best server I ever had is an understatement. She was on top of everything from the start. And was so helpful with me. I will back again just because of her just amazing.
Food was amazing. We had beet salads, crabs, cornbread gnocchi and the carrots. Every dish was delicious. But our server(s) were terrible. Lots of staff just standing around tapping on screens. But not checking in on tables. Had to stop a random server walking by to order more drinks. Only brought one salad at first. Forgot our side dish. My guess is our server was new and inexperienced and overwhelmed. She was not ready for this caliber of restaurant. The manger could tell we were not thrilled with the service so she came over and introduced herself. She was great. Gave us a complimentary dessert which was one of the best things I have ever tasted. So overall not a 5 Star experience but definitely 5 star food.
