Why 5 stars? Because after far too long, I finally made it here, and it was worth the wait. --- --- --- I discovered Crumbville over a year ago and it just never worked out for me to stop in and visit. Despite it not being super close by where we at lunch, I made it a point that it finally had to happen. And why did I wait so long?? When we first walked in, there was a line of people waiting to pay for what they'd picked out. But, the owner, despite being busy with all of these people, still greeted us and was going over all of the different options in the store, while she was ringing up people in line. When we made it to the front of the line, she could not have possibly been a friendlier human. It's no wonder the reviews here are so amazing, because even if you don't absolutely love the goodies, you can't help but enjoy coming in here. As for what we bought: Mayniac Munch = 4.5 stars. Red velvet, chocolate chip pecan cookie dough & oreos. This was solid when we snacked on a couple bites in the car, but so amazing when we got home and heated it up a little bit. Best of Both Worlds = 4.5 stars. Fudge brownie topped with chocolate chip pecan cookie dough and cream cheese. This was my wife's choice and something I wasn't super excited about. But I took one bite and next thing I knew, I had eaten half of it! Butter ThickHER Thana Snicker = 5 stars. Moist Butter cake with our Signature ThickHER Thana Snicker cookie (rich chocolate dough filled with peanuts, chocolate, Caramel, nougats & popcorn) baked inside. This was absolutely stupid good. 5 stars doesn't do it justice. How about 15? The icing was amazing too. And the best part was that I didn't feel awful after eating it. I don't know what she puts in this stuff to not give me an immediate stomach ache full of regret afterward, like most baked goods, but it's heaven. I will not wait 14 months to make my next visit, I promise you that.

Stopped in by curiosity and am so happy to have a new place to get sweet treats! Especially when I go to pick up my comic books! I've been wanting to stop in but never did until today. Was beyond excited to see there was vinyl in the shop as well! Owner and Baker, Ella, was beyond sweet in explaining all the options. It's so hard to find vegan treats for my friends, and to know this is just down the street from Green Seed Vegan is amazing! I can't wait to be back with friends! My wife brought me a cookie today from Crumbville that she got at work. Admittedly, I am not a person who likes to eat foods that I am not sure where they came from. She told me the cookie was delicious so I trusted her judgment and took a bite of the butter pecan cookie. It was absolutely amazing. The cookie itself is flavorful and moist. Almost like biting into a mix of a cookie/piece of cake. I love the bits of candy pecans inside of the cookie and I cannot wait to order more delicious treats from this business. Add to that it is black, female owned!I will be going to spend all my money here soon.

We came from out of town and stumbled upon this establishment. The owner was knowledgeable, sweet, and caring. These cupcakes were easily some of the best I've had on a VERY long time. Hands down a must stop spot if you are in Houston. I first got to experience these delicious cookies and cupcakes 8 years ago. I've moved to a different state and when I saw the store front I had to go in! Just as tasty and delicious as I remember. Support local and small visits you can't go wrong here. Also if you're skeptical of vegan food, you really don't need to be here. We were there early evening for a bike ride tour next door but saw the owner who happened to have just come back to do some clean up after having closed earlier, but she reopened just to let us in. Super friendly and helpful and informative with all the flavors/ treats on offer.I got the strawberry Cheesecake stuffed cupcake. I'm not a huge sweet tooth so was concerned it may be too decadant especially after feeling the good weight of it, but somehow it was perfectly light and not dense and not too over the top.Others in our group got various flavors (sweet potato and butter pecan, and red velvet) of the cookie stuffed cupcakes and also had similar comments how they were perfect.Would definitely visit again if we lived in the area.
