Came for the first time to try it out because my friend said she loved it. I SEE THE HYPE. It was amazing. The environment, the vibes, the food, the service. Amazing. I love everything about this place. It’s hard to find a good place nowadays that’s checks off everything in ur boxes but this one did for sure. Will be coming back 100% keep it up I love it!

When you want a little taste of Mexico City, sit outside on a cool morning and enjoy a cup of coffee and a pan dulce. The 5 leche waffle was well received. I enjoyed the huge special of the day, red chilequiles and barnacoain red sauce. Everything was so full of flavor. Looking forward to our next visit.

This place is great. Welcoming staff, great food and good drinks. Definitely recommend 💯
The food here was okay. We had the Chilaquiles of the week, Huevos Enfrijolados, and Tamal de Mole. The chilaquiles were green and tasted too much like lime, not a fan. The enfrijolados were good. the tamal was dry. We didn't try the baked goods which did look good.

The place was very cozy and nicely decorated, beautiful mural inside. Once I got there, the only available seat for one,was a shared table for 8, they gave me the corner, a nice family of 3 were on the same table. As soon as they left I moved a seat so I wouldn't be on the corner. The hostes who is an older lady, immediately came to me and said, very rudely, I had to move back to the corner side, because she had a family of six seating on the same table, so she moved me again. I asked the waitress if I could move somewhere else and she found a table for me. Felt very unwanted, once the food came out the chilaquiles were good, but the cafè de olla was unflavorful, ordered a waffle with 5 leches and not good at all and I felt like $16 was pricey for 1 waffle. Would of taken a friendly enviroment over the aesthetic. Left a 25% tip still, but is not worth the hype.

Really excellent chilaquiles. Two fantastic sauces on one plate. Freshly fried chips, good quality eggs on top. Highly recommend. Cute spot in the always interesting East Montrose area.
