I watched a bartender make magic. While I have not tasted it, I highly recommended the smoked old fashioned. The chocolate charcuterie plate is great to share (although I ate everything by myself). I initially thoughts it was a board with chocolate, fruit and nuts but received chocolate that included fruits & nuts. It was a bummer for my son with a nut allergy but a bonus for me. It’s very delicious and I recommend trying it to share.

His cocktail recommendations were spot on, and he even crafted a custom drink based on my preferences—it was easily one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had! Beyond his expertise, Luis has a warm and engaging personality that makes you feel like a valued guest.
Cueva Bar is lucky to have someone like Luis, who goes above and beyond to ensure every customer leaves with a smile. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend for anyone staying at the Marriott Marquis or simply looking for a top-notch bar experience.

This is right inside the lobby of the marriot. It has a lounge feel. High-end cocktails, great wines by the glass, and even better by the bottle. Seating is both inside the cove of the bar but also extends into the lobby.

Very disappointed with the service received at Cueva. Stopped by for a quick drink on Friday night 10/25 and the bartender who assisted me was not friendly, never asked what liquor I wanted, it felt very rushed. I was surprised being that the bar is located inside the luxurious Marriott Marquis. Hopefully they get their act together.

If you are stuck at the Marriott Marquis and wake up early and need a shot of real coffee (what they have in the room if aweful - great for taking paint off of lead) before a session, then OK. BUT, give yourself at least 10 minutes from the time you place your order (there is always a line) to receive coffee. And the fruit is $8 for a small cup!! Really. Shame!

Decent. We needed to catch a flight and we wanted a quick bite before we went to the airport. I had the shrimp dish (healthy) and my husband had the burger. Both would've been good vs. decent but the location from their kitchen to the wine bar is a problem for hot food, unfortunately. Therefore, for the price... it was decent.

What a great place for a cocktail. We had one round off the menu to try something new and then ordered some of our old favorites. The bartenders had some good ideas for new twists on old drinks. I'd definitely go back.
