This is the best soul food place in this area in terms of taste and food quality. Although Fresh Farmers and Whitus have a bigger selection of meats, even the rice and gravy here is way more flavorful, absolutely delicious. This is the only place that serves dressing and its good. I got chicken, dressing and Mac n cheese. Absolutely amazing

Used to love coming to this place. The customer service has really gone downhill. Walked in today and walked out after standing there for five minutes with no acknowledgment or help. The lady in the back looked right at me and then went on about what she was doing.

It's a place where you can try authentic Cajun food. I recommend the oxtail and the turkey necks. The vegetables are also delicious, as is the cornbread. The lady at the counter was very kind and patient in explaining how they serve their dishes.

New to the neighborhood, started exploring cause my new job is 5 min from here. Locally owned and operated, and I could taste the love 🤣. Had the turkey leg (more like velociraptor leg, in size, not texture, not that I would know 😋). Finger tender, sry not sry, would say fork tender, but I didn’t use one. The place has such a family vibe, that I just dug in, all 🙌. 😋😋😋 🙏🙏🙏
