The Daily Grill

Was a bit disappointed in this restaurant. The food was alright, but plain and nothing spectacular. Especially for the price tag. The service wasn’t good either- had to ask to get coffee refills. You could tell people visited there because it was next to the hotel and convention center. Wouldn’t come again.

My brother, friends, and I had dinner at this place on December 24th. We enjoyed our dinner since the service was fast and the ambiance was quite relaxing. I ordered their rib eye and asked for medium rare, but what was served appeared to be medium well. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed their steak as it was tender and juicy.

Really nice, quiet place to hang out while everyone in the family is out shopping. The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich has become an annual event. Very tasty, well prepared!

Every time we come in, we make sure he’s working, that’s how amazing he is. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely the best waiter we’ve ever had. His service always makes our experience outstanding. Highly recommend asking for Neal! 💜

Our server Neal was amazing!! He always gives us the best service when my friends and I come! He truly brightens up our day when we come! We only ask for him to be our server exclusively 💖 if you come definitely ask for him as your server you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!

While first experience wasn’t what I had hoped. I went a second time and both times I wenthere, my food was good. The second time around made up for my previous experience, going above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Thanks again!

Whilst staying for a staycation at Westin Galleria, we got $50 vouchers for both the days for The Daily Grill which we used for breakfast. The first morning Saturday we got here it was around 10:30 AM and the restaurant was only 20% full yet we were told there was a 25 minute wait. Upon asking, we were told the kitchen was running slow! Well what a great start! There was no system of text messaging the guests when their table was ready which would have been convenient that way you could walk around the mall and get there when your turn came. Nope, write your name on a piece of paper and wait for your turn there.
After about 20 minutes, we were finally seated. Our server Alberto was FANTASTIC! He made it up completely for the not so good start. I ordered the chilaquiles with mocha coffee and my husband ordered French toast. Both the items were delicious, prepared fresh and tasted great. The portions were pretty generous as well!
The second day we ordered Belgian waffle and breakfast burrito. Waffle was pretty similar to a 3 star hotel waffle so nothing special about it. Burrito tasted great. Our server the second day was Lili and she was nice as well. Alberto though was the MAN! Loved his energy, friendly attitude and charismatic personality. Seemed to clearly show, he enjoyed what he did.
