Needed coffee and breakfast after flying a red eye. Gal recommended the sausage sandwich and indeed it was good. Chai latte was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was good.

Overall really nice spot and great people assisting you, would have given 5 stars if more seating, but also understand why they do not want a big space.

This is my spot! I was put on to the Lavender Latte and it is now my go to! They also give impeccable customer service. Shout out to Marco, Kevin, Julius and everyone I don’t know by name lol. You all are absolutely fantastic, and appreciated.Warmest Regards,Alesha B.

Loretta is the hidden gem that makes this place worth coming to. When Loretta makes our drinks, they’re perfect. Bless her MashAllah FRWhen mostly anyone else makes them, the drinks are mid and sometimes just bad- they’ve tasted metallic before, other times just taste like milk and no coffee.9 times out of 10 when we ask for a hot drink in a mug, they give it to us in a plastic cup. Mugs change the whole experience and following simple order requests like this would make this cafe much better.-Cappuccino: good, I enjoy it with cinnamon.Again, we usually want to drink it in a mug, and majority of the time they still give it to us in a cup. Communication between baristas could be improved.-Shaken Espresso: comes with caramel, vanilla, and brown sugar. Way way too sweet for me as I’m not into overwhelmingly sweet coffee drinks. So instead, I order it without any of the syrups, with honey instead of sugar and with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Delicious and well balanced—again, only when Loretta makes it. When anyone else makes it, it just tastes like milk.-Matcha latte: I’ve gotten this once, with honey and cinnamon. Just tasted like milk- had to ask for an extra scoop of matcha- then it actually tasted good. And my friend who enjoys sweet coffee drinks enjoyed the matcha with rose syrup and cold foam.-Friend enjoyed their hot macchiato (not SB version)-Brisket kolache is good. I think it could be better if it was cheesier-Brisket tacos are good-Bean + potato + cheese tacos are goodThe vibe is nice and the employees are kind. A lot of natural light in the main room. The back room on the way to the bathrooms has a really nice, and also really cozy vibe. There’s books everywhere you can read while you’re there and board games too.*Sometimes with parking I get lucky parking right in front, but usually I street park a couple blocks away. Sometimes the parking meter in front of the cafe doesn’t work so I use the Houston park app.

A fantastic little place to relax and prepare for the day after arriving downtown early enough to be at the typical Houston commuter traffic. The coffee is incredibly smooth with numerous flavored options to please the hardest core sweet tooth. My personal favorite pastry is the spicy boudin kolache. Of all the places in the Houston area the boudin kolache reminds me most of the nearly 16 years I spent living in Louisiana.I'm sure I'll be back to sample their other offerings.

Busy downtown coffee shop, we had two lattes which I liked but bf said its too milky/light. Place has nice art and cool eclectic decor, noise level is medium/high. They have some pastries that look very pale lol we didnt try any. Convenient location though.

Feels like a college coffee shop with all of the coziness, haphazard decoration and mediocre coffee that implies. Friendly staff but the coffee just isn’t high quality. No pour overs available so I tried the drip coffee. It’s supposed to be light roast but was bitter with no fruitiness. Music selection was an acceptable alternative mix. Some buttoned up suits were trying to do a business pitch in the middle of the coffee bar which clashed with the overall vibe.

A cozy hole in the wall local Coffee Shop, what more could you ask for? The building itself has kept good preservation. Upon entry the bookcases and plants are esthetically pleasing to the eye. The music gave the place a modern vibe. I ordered the peach lemonade as it was a bit humid outside and I wanted something to help refresh me. The young ladies behind the counter were great at helping me choose a drink. Prompt service and a decent crowd for a midweek, mid stop. I would most definitely come back again.

Very good atmosphere and my fiancé and I enjoyed our coffee. The coffee we were recommended was a good choice, and we gave this shop a 9 out of 10.
