Deans is a good bar no joke, good service and prices. However their after hour food service, or whoever uses the outside is a joke. Loud mouth and extremely unprofessional individuals who are honestly looking for someone to lay them out. Not sure they are really affiliated with the bar itself but the little yelling dude on the day of May 14 to 15 was sad to a hilarious degree. I mean down talking people buying homeless people some food and yelling at customers calling them drunks? Sad, my only regret is being pulled away as the clown jumped the gate. Definitely a loser for sure.

Located right on Main Street in downtown Houston. It's one of the few bars that has an enclosed patio area with fans.The interior is very spacious and has comfortable sofas and chairs. The service is great and the vibe is perfect for a first date.

I have run into a few Deans downtown, such as Dean Martin, Richard Dean Anderson, Dean Cain (that man felt like steel) and the Dean of admissions of the University Of Houston. But this one was new to me. I heard great things about the old Dean's, but the new one didn't really do it for me. I found the drinks to not be that great and Barbi - who is a drink expert - was not feeling them. It's priced like an expensive bar but looks like a cheap bar. I know there are a lot of bars like that now, but if you're going to charge this much for drinks, you better be really good.

My friends and I came here as part of a bar crawl. We had the best service from Guac aka Giuliano. 10’s across the board. Drinks and conversation were superb. About 15 minutes later, Dwann, another bar tender. The combination of the two was amazing 10/10 recommend this bar.
I was telling my wife that I would love to find a lounge! Comfortable chairs and great drinks. This fit the bill! Chill inside with couches and chairs. Excellent liquor choices. Comfortable bar stools which I seem to find rare these days. Even extends outside if you're a smoker or want to people watch.

Be careful of sexual harassment!When my friend and I first arrived and got a drink, quickly this girl came over to us looking for help and an escape as a guy had been touching her from behind at the bar and saying weird things to her. We went outside together and told the bouncers who did nothing…Later on I went to the bar to get another round of drinks, I was shoved by a drunk guy who thought I was too close to him into another lady who then freaked out as her drink was spilt. The bar was packed, everyone was next to each other like sardines in the whole bar.the bar tender missed what had happened and asked them (not me). Next thing I know I am being removed by the bouncer, and I believe this was definitely racial. As an immigrant I have an strong accent and look, and She did not want to hear my story, everyone else was obviously American.Long story short- They won’t remove creeps and harassers, but removed me over a misunderstanding.
