i got the chance to try this place out yesterday! i got the ouzi here, which is a really tender lamb stew. it comes with rice and a little side of vegetables and freshly baked bread, as well as some really good beans. the lamb was extremely tender and delicious! my partner ordered the falafel sandwich, and he said it was some of the best falafel he’s had in the city. the workers were very sweet, they made sure everything came out perfectly. i’d definitely return!
Some of the best chicken shawarma. I've had the lamb, Iraqi kabobs, chicken, and it's all delicious. Have gone multiple times and it never disappoints. I will say the sandwiches/meals could use a sauce but that's my only suggestion.
We shared Lahmacun with egg (similar to a pizza) and Quzi (lamb and rice) it was more than enough for two people. Delicious flavors. Staff was friendly and helpful with our orders. This is a storefront restaurant so there are those limitations on the atmosphere but the food more than makes up for any decorations.
