Desi Kitchen consistently has amazing food. Yesterday, I got the Chicken Chettinadu and garlic naan. The door was served piping hot and just as spicy as I requested. Naan was hot, slightly fluffy, and adequately loaded with garlic butter. The food here is consistently great.Service was good for an Indian restaurant, as most Indian restaurants do not have very good service.Atmosphere is basic. This is a mom and pop place that focuses on food. Don’t go for that atmosphere.

We came to spend long weekend to Houston with our extended family. We are basically vegetarians. We tried multiple restaurants and finally ended up here. The Veg Biryani and Paneer Biryani are top class! The Nans and curries are also excellent. Thali is not upto the mark. But the Biryanis, Nans and curries are top class. We will definitely recommend this place

I never tried this kind of a Hyderabad style biriyani, not even from Hyderabad city…! Biriyani meat was coated with dough(may be they gave a chicken 65biriyani instead of dum biriyani) We ordered through phone and it took 45-50mins to get ready the food…I don’t know why this restaurant has a 4+ rating may be other items are good like Dosa & curries…anyhow, not again especially biriyani… well, this is the first Indian restaurant from people comes from East side of Houston …

I've been ordering their food from Uber, it is always delicious and well packaged. My only complaint is that they close around 2 and do not open again till 5. It is 3:30 pm. now and I am starving! I guess I will just have to starve, or maybe I'll make a sandwich. Anyways, their food is very tasty.

Mom wanted some masala dosa and i happened to chance upon this little gem on Google. We ordered pani puri, samosa chaat, chicken tikka masala, breakfast thali, butter naan and chicken biriyani. Everything was delicious. The masala dosa was so tasty. The stuffing came separately which I appreciated because it meant that my dosa stayed fresh and crispy. I asked for mild chicken tikka for the kids and spicy biriyani for myself. I got exactly that and everyone was happy. The lady who helped us with our order was also very pleasant. We’ll definitely be back.
Worst Indian restaurant I doesn’t taste right the chicken was raw ask for spicy chicken 65 not spicy whatsoever and the chicken was raw aswell ordered butter chicken which was bright red and does not taste
