It was just like the other location I ate at in San Antonio. The food was very good and the staff was friendly.

Delicious food and it didn't feel like old food though it's a buffet.

I LOVE THIS PLACE
I wanted to try this place, as we used to eat at the location when it was Sweet Tomatoes salad buffet, which was killed by Covid restrictions.
When my brother in law was here I was able to convince my wife to try it on a Friday night. I was very surprised by the small number of diners there for a Friday night.
Walk in and grab a plate, start through the serving line. It starts with a large selection of salads, including a nice Greek salad and so many greek style selections. The others remarked that everything looks so fresh, and it did.
I didn't take as much salad stuff on my plate to not get too full. I will definitely make my salad bigger next time. It was so good.
I went back for the entrée selections and didn't get too adventurous. I was especially pleased with the experience of the gyro meat. I didn't see the pita bread and will look for it next time.
I will also try the baked fish when I return. And I will return soon.
The entire experience was 5 stars.
In fact I wish I could eat there today.
I do hope that they do well and are able to stay in business. So please give it a try.
It might seem a little pricy, but I challenge you to go to the store and buy the ingredients to make just the lovely chopped cucumber salad and some hummus and pita bread for the same price. I bet that you about break even.

I don't ever write reviews, but I had to for this last experience. I really enjoy Dimassi's, and we usually go a couple of times a month. However I have to give this location one star. We definitely won't be going back. The gentleman making the bread kept putting food from the warming dishes in his mouth and then touched the dough he was preparing. I saw him get some meat, put it in some bread and then take a bite. He then went over to the lemons by the beverage station and picked up a lemon with his fingers and squeezed it over the food in his hand. A little while later, I watched him pick up food with his finger and put the piece in his mouth and then go back to the dough. I complained to an employee, and they informed me that they have received complaints before and it's nothing new. I was told that the person doing it was the manager. He should know better and has probably had food handlers training. The owners should take this seriously! He is contaminating the food that customers are about to consume. It is seriously disgusting that he puts food in his mouth and then touches food that going to be served.

Food was delicious and fresh. Plenty of choices to fit most dietary preferences. The cream baklava was the best dessert I tried.

Out of ALL the Dimassi's I've been to.. THIS location has the best food. Saturday evenings, you want to be here. They bring out all food fresh and it's "chefs kiss" when it comes to a buffet. I've been to a total of 5 now, and the furthest one from Houston was in San Antonio.. I am telling you.. you can't find better.
