A little, nondescript donut shop that crushes the big chains for two reasons: their donuts are nowhere nearly as heavy, and nowhere nearly as messy. Even the apple fritter was much lighter than expected. Well worth the trip!

We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Dina is always working to add variety and make her already perfect donuts even better. Her service and genuine warmth are unmatched. Stop by in the am for a fresh glazed donut, there is nothing like it. So with that being said, if you pass up this little hidden gem and choose Shipleys, you deserve Shipleys cold donuts.
When hurricane Ike hit in 2008 they were the only restaurant or donut shop open.. they used their own truck for electricity.. they have always treated their customers like family..
