First, the owner is an amazing person who cares about his customers & knows how to treat them (to me that is most important). Second, I have never tasted better rice in my life (& I've been to many countries & majority of the US). while the rice is the absolute BEST, the rest of his food doesn't fail to impress & I've tried alot of his food. I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

Small hole in the wall quaint spot... Houston's hidden gem to be honest. Don't expect anything grand when it come to the setting, however, we were mind blown by the flavors and quality of food we received. We ordered Ela's Romanian Kabob plate and the Thursday special. (Fish balls served with saffron rice and grilled potatoes) We also got a side of eggplant. Not sure what exactly the name is since I went up to the counter and just pointed and this red puree of goodness....
